‪I wanted to say a big thank you to Lisa who works in your Trafford Centre cafe. I walked into the cafe today with my hungry, restless 4 month old where there was of course a long queue and upon seeing my anguished face she kindly asked me what I wanted and to find a table. She then brought me a cup of tea, took payment and brought me change so that I didn't have to queue. A true act of kindness and compassion. ‬Merry Christmas

hats off to John Lewis at Trafford centre for stocking the Samsung tablet my Mum wanted and for the best service ever. I'd trailed round Debenhams, Currys PC World, Sumsung and was getting really fed up and tbh John Lewis was the last ditch attempt as I assumed they'd be overpriced but they were in fact a little cheaper than Currys. They treated me like a valued customer too and not an over 40s fogey . 10/10 ( the gentleman who served me said he usually worked on the furniture dept )

The staff in the cafe were wonderful. I have celiac disease and they were really helpful and well informed. The gluten free scones are delicious!

Love the store and when I went to get my coffee and cake there yesterday, a very helpful young man was at the entrance to the restaurant and he sorted my cream scone out as well as my John Lewis phone app !

Let’s look at what the Victoria park (Stretford) crowdfunder needs to reach it’s target - 3500 people to pledge a tenner and we’ll be done and we can sleep again! How can we make this happen? This is where we need your help as we don’t know 3500 people to ask for a tenner. We need to spread this ask all around to everyone you can think of and ask for them to help, if they can pledge a fiver that’ll do we just need more people! Can you ask at work for their help? Someone on here must work at Kellogg’s or amazon or some of the other big companies in Trafford park- our neighbours please can you ask on behalf of the Friends of Victoria Park? We have no marketing group or communication channel other than our community to spread the word. Are you a local business who could chuck in a few quid as a charitable donation everything will be gratefully received. Thank you for all the support so far we have 3 weeks to make this happen x

Just like to say a very big thank you to Adam and Nadim for going the extra mile for my mum. She bought a running machine in John Lewis (Trafford Centre) a couple of weeks ago and was told the delivery guys would set it up for my mum unfortunately this didn’t happen.Mum phoned John Lewis and spoke to Adam, who arranged to drive all the way to todmorden with another colleague to assemble the machine. The lads turned up sorted everything and even took all the packaging away. The service from these lads in the name of John Lewis was exceptional a big big thank you to you both and John Lewis from Jean and myself......Merry Christmas

I would like to say a very big thank you to Amur the security gentlemen on the door of the

Men's dept, who helped me to find my car when I made the

mistake of going out of the wrong

Door, I explained to him where I

had parked and he took me

straight to my car !!!!!!

Well done, in my opinion he went

above and beyond the call of duty

Thanks again, Katie

I would like to say a big thankyou to Paul from the technology department.

Paul was so friendly and extremely helpful. His expertise was great and he couldn't help me enough. I'm so grateful for all of your assistance with my order, from start to finish. Thankyou.

I love John Lewis, it caters for all tastes and wallets, it brings a bit of class to a very tacky Shopping area, considering the size of the store it manages to stock a good range of goods. It’s customer service is excellent as is its problem solving should you have one.

Had a personnel shopper to choose an outfit for a wedding, great service

Thank you Adam. I'll be back!

Visited yesterday and used the baby changing facility available, these were of a good standard and great to find you have a feeding area available

My issue is why have you felt the need to design the area with a partition wall with 2 separate sign's that state 'bottle feeding' then 'breast feeding' ?

Why not just have a 'feeding' area ??

Myself and a friend highlighted this and chatted with a lady using the 'breast feeding' area who also found it odd that you felt the need to group these separately.

I feel by making these area's separate you are creating barriers and grouping people for their choice of how to nurse their child. Would you design 2 areas and label them 'young parent' and 'older parent' ? I think not !

Would be interested in hearing the reasoning behind the decision.

Store on a whole was pleasant though and we enjoyed our shopping experience :)

I didn’t like that your staff were stood outside the doors shortly before opening in their uniforms having a smoke, it Presents the John Lewis brand poorly and it stinks for customers walking into the Trafford Centre

I came into purchase a perfume for a gift on Friday 23rd of Dec. I asked if it could be wrapped. Apparently they can wrap a single perfume, but not the gift set? The set was £61.00. I then asked if there was a bag to put it in. I wasn't offered. What I cannot understand is the customer experience I am supposed to have when I shop here and want to come back. The staff were miserable, no attempt was made to engage with me and find out my needs and wants and make me feel good about my purchase. Companies spend millions on advertising to bring customers into your shop, and then they wonder why sales are not the same anymore? and they think it is because of online shopping. Not the case, the cause is right under your nose. I can see why the shop was not busy. Very poor customer service for this store and company.

Hello

I would like to make a complaint about John Lewis in Trafford. I've been standing more than 5mins at the Casio watch counter 3.25pm 4th December 2016 hoping that the staff would serve me. Waiting patiently for the two staff to finish off their conversations. Yet they don't stop talking. I'm a customer wanting to buy a watch but in the end I had lost my paitence in waiting for them to finish their so whats called important conversation, about their mortgage and who has the savings. You employ staff to work not to talk about their personal lives in front of customers. I'd have to say that this is the worst experience I've ever had in John Lewis. No wonder you loose ur customers. This needs to be looked into.

Well I thought I would share my recent experience of John Lewis and it’s apparent lack of customer service. I ordered a dress online and when it arrived it was wrong. I contacted Customer Services and they sent me a replacement but this was just the same as the first wrong and not what I had ordered. Second call to customer services who inform me that they will need to raise an issue with the relevant department and I would have to wait 24 hours for a response. Waited 24 hours no response so rang again and was told it would take up to 48 hours. No response again so contacted them again and now I’m being told the dept has a backlog and it could be days. My 50th Birthday on Thursday and wanted said dress for the Ritz. Now I have two dresses that I did not order and no time to go and buy another. Will I shop at John Lewis again. I think we can guess the answer !

The women's sportswear choices are pitiful.

It consists of shapeless black stuff.

There are some fantastic sports brands the offer great colours.

Received appalling service today from John Lewis Trafford Centre. Spoke with Jackie in technical services to advise I was waiting for a Samsung TV to come in stock and they promised to price match it when is store on Sunday. However now the TV is in stock they are refusing to price match and couldn’t even to bothered to call me to advise. When I asked why Jackie advised, “They do not need the custom and put the phone down”!!!

Disgraceful and very unprofessional customer service. Do yourself a favour this Christmas and shop elsewhere John Lewis are too busy this year for customer service.

User

Previously been a huge John Lewis fan, bought all my Christmas presents there. I treated myself which is rare, found a half pack of chewing gum, used tissue and black plastic ring in my supposedly new coats pocket. I complained , they were very sympathetic but I was offer full refund. That’s the least I should expect. I’ve bought the coat direct from Mint Velvet, I don’t wish to give John Lewis any more money.
