I'm on the mailing list which is a joy to receive, even though I seldom buy I love perusing the sales for the odd bargain. Just purchased a pair of Guideline Alta V2 boots. Very reasonably priced, arrived toot sweet and I'm most impressed that John Norris took into account that these are manufactured in the USA and accounted for the difference in shoe size when despatching these. I'll most definitely be back and hope to visit the shop itself one day when I am down that way.

Pricey but good quality

Has everything you need for the country and very good quality stuff.

A great old fashioned shop with a good range of country clothing and fishing gear, it's always worth a look upstairs where the bargains are. The staff are always friendly and are happy to help if you need it or just let you browse.

Waited in a queue to be served as all three assistants were busy.
Despite wearing a bright orange tshirt the first assistant to come free served an ignorant queue jumping reprobate.
Eventually an assistant asked if I required assistance.
Holding my broken fishing rod in hand I asked if they repaired fishing rods?
The assistant replied they used too but don't now!
I asked if they sold the parts?
Reply.....
No!
No further assistance offered!
John Norris used to be a shop where you received customer service.
Perhaps they reserve customer service for the wealthy or perhaps they reserve their customer service for ignorant reprobates.
Once upon a time I would have recommended John Norris, sadly today I wouldn't.
