Well done John Norris team - husband Brian landed his first salmon on the Tweed when the tip of his rod broke. One phone call and a replacement rod couriered to the hotel enabling him to carry on fishing the next day! Excellent service thank you.

Very pleasant and helpful staff even when you get there close to closing time. And had what we need.

Very knowledgeable and experienced staff who know what they are taking about. The sale assistant spent some time explaining everything to me about the fly rod and fly line that I wanted and was really helpful, nothing was too much trouble for him and I left with a new fly rod and sink tip floating line at a very reasonable price. I am very happy with the service at John Norris and I always have great service and very helpful advise.

Popped in today as we always said if we are close we would do,shop well stocked and polite and helpful staff ,got myself a couple shirts at a great price of the sale rai too.. will be back Christmas when we up North again .

I called in with my 8 year old son Dylan last Sunday he recently turned 8 and with his own birthday money wanted a rod real and all the bits and bobs to go with it. We were served by a really helpful guy who helped us find everything we needed to get started ! Awesome service and what an awesome shop we will be back and thanks for your great service. And for taking the time to help us.

I bought the Guideline Farrio CRS rod, what a fantastic rod at a great price too, it was that good when I used it, I came back and ordered another in a different line wt. Both rods were delivered next day great service.

I bought a Grey's travel rod for my son and tip snapped first time out. Sent John Norris an email received helpful reply from Kirsty the next day plus email for return with label and clear instructions. Spoke with Sarah who was very helpful and replacement rod sorted and posted to me that day. Very helpful all round. Cannot fault Sarah and Kirsty who were as polite as they were prompt. Many thanks. I bought a Barbour shirt off their website which was cheaper than Barbour, it arrived the next day but unfortunately was a little big as I selected the wrong size. I therefore ordered a new one as I needed it very quick instead of doing an exchange which they offer and sent back the original. I received the refund within 2 days and my new shirt the next day.

I was very impressed with how quick they were at returning the money and delivering my shirts especially one week before Christmas!

Ordered a pair of Harkila Forester wellies on the Sunday, they arrived Tuesday. Perfect fit and at a great price. Only thing that stops me giving 5 stars is the package was addressed to the wrong number house despite the correct address on the confirmation email. Took a while and a few exchanges with UKmail before I found out why the parcel was marked as signed for and delivered yet not in my hands.

Great staff the selection on the internet, is not reflected in the store, or the web page is not kept up to dateя┐╜

We have bought all our family wellies from this store for years however feel we are frowned upon from the min we step foot in the place. Staff help but have to be promoted to do so - once they are in the motions all is good - however I feel the typical "well dressed country folk " have the best of the customer service.

The online staff are very helpful but it's incredibly annoying to place an order for an item only to be rung up an hour later and be told the size is not available. Not once, but TWICE! Originally ordered a 12, online said in stock, but out of stock. Changed order to a 10, online said in stock, but not in stock. Something definitely needs looking at there я┐╜

been trying to log into their website now for a week constant message

under upgrade will be up and running by the weekend shame doesn't say which one or what month so ive use another supplier shame always thought they where good seems something has happened to them
