Finally I got to make this fitted shelving unit for a long time customer. It was a pleasure. I cannot wait to see it painted !

So, I had a granite worktop installer admiring our newly levelled floor yesterday. He said he'd never seen one so smooth. I told him it is the bare minimum. That is what you are paying for, a sheet of glass. Anything less and you haven't got what you paid for. :-)

More great floor preparation today.... 7.30am wasn't fun but we do what we can to work with the customers timescale and project. The brief was to Damp proof and then smooth a floor prior to a beautiful wool carpet installation tomorrow.

Work in progress today on an LVT floor. You may have heard of the brand name Karndean. Fabulous product. This will be finished with a double plank border to replicate a traditional wood block installation. We always like to show the work in progress pictures. Firstly we applied a coat of Liquid Damp Proof Membrane and then the grey smoothing compound that you can see. All in days work.
