Went in today for my winter coat purchase. Fantastic service - beautiful classic clothing at a fair price.
Visit and breathe........and just be thankful we are in safe hands....
Service over the phone was the best .I had to send a Harrington back because it was too big.The day after I phoned a new jacket arrived .No fuss no bother,
Great customer service abdca great jacket.
Many thanks Jhn abd team. Ianfenne
Proper old-school retail 'experience'. Knowledgeable people, their enthusiasm rubs-off.
Only been in John's shop once or twice but it's quite possibly the best retail experience in London.
Londons best Ivy League men's clothes store. From Royal Brogues to Boston raincoats, 100% cotton button down shirts and own brand jackets.
Just received my first purchase from the online store.
Lovely plaid shirt - will be back soon.
I've just visited John Simons' store this morning. I confess I was so nervous about visiting such a sartorial temple and to be face to face with a legend like Mr. Simons. I started my visit so shy I could not even ask for prices, moreover when I just met inside the shop a very, very famous actor. Surprisingly for me, John Simons in person helped me a lot selecting stuff, encouraging me to try anything I like, showing me the best offers and being so nice and funny!!! So please visit the store, no matter if you (like me before) think you are not cool or rich enough. Best stuff, best staff, best quality/price best time.
I've been for the first time at John Simons. Great selection of quality menswear. I got home with a neat madras shirt and a pair of high end japanese sneakers. Had a nice and instructive conversation with the owner and his son too. Go there and surprise yourself!
I met John this week and, for continuity, told him how he must have served my dad in the Austin's shop in Shaftesbury Avenue in the early to mid 1960s. I used to get bought a few button-downs too. Wren and Manhatten were my favorites back then. And here I am half a century later rifling through the same sort of rack of button-downs. Great to see it all again.
I had a Gloveral pea coat. The limited edition one with the big buttons. It was stolen one night when I was out in Soho. Somehow, John found me a replacement, which he sold to me at cost price because he knew how upset I was. The man is a legend, who truly understands that clothes are more than just cloth. But I guess you all knew that already.
I called in today after a recommendation by a friend and was not disappointed. Great service guys.
I bought two pairs of bass weeguns - burgundy and black - from John's Covent Garden shop in 1991. And they're still going strong. And so is John, I'm glad to say.
Great shop with brilliant clothes and staff to match
Great service on and offline, more than happy with my service today. Thank you.
Fell in love with the Katz jacket in the window . Had to have it !!! .
Great service from some one who new all about their stock .. smiling from ear to ear with my purchase.
Fabulous Ivy League shop in Chiltern St, just down from the tourist trap of Madame Tussauds'.
For those with a knowledge of this thematic and long lasting 'smart casual' fashion, this shop is a Nirvana and, although relatively compact has mouth watering items of clothing, shoes and accessories from the Ivy pantheon of style.
Worth a trip to London just to leisurely shop and chat to the informed shop staff, but - If you don't 'get it' - you will live in ignorance that will be reflected in your sartorial elegance, sadly.
Excellent shirt. I purchased one of their own make madras popover shirts and it's one of the best I've ever had. The fit is generous and the shirt is quite long so there's no danger of it becoming untucked. Details are on point too, flap pocket, locker loop and a proper length unlined collar. Bonus points for service as I could order over the phone.
A great place and always a pleasure to visit. I just wish it was nearer, but I doubt my wallet would cope if it was, so many great things to buy.
