Wonderful atmosphere food excellent so we're all the staff

Have been there a few times now and it never disappoints.

It would be great if one could open nearer Leeds as would visit more often.Looking forward towards summer a fantastic place to visit especially now the garden is complete.

This pub is a real gem! It is well decorated and has a lovely atmosphere that makes you feel at home straight away. The quality of the food is fantastic and the roast dinner was one of the best I've ever had. The real ales are well kept and there is a brilliant selection available. Can't wait to visit again!! Thank you for a lovely afternoon xx

Haven't been to the Joiners in years, nice to walk in and it feel so welcoming, just like a village pub should be. It was pretty busy for a Thursday night and glad I'd booked a table in advance.

We had a selection of soup, pasta, seabass and vegetarian options which all came piping hot, well presented and tasted fresh and delicious! Too full for dessert but we'll definitely be back to tackle more on the menu! The service was relaxed, you didn't feel hurried in any way and nothing was too much trouble. Thanks again and see you soon!

First time there, and it was amazing. The staff were charming and very attentive, thanks Mitch, Alex & Katie. Were shown to a fab table under the arches with space for kids to not annoy anyone else and the food was DELICIOUS. Clean plates all round. Was very difficult to choose from all the great options on the menu. Perfect kids portions and choices. Well done to the new management!

Cracking bit of a winters day comfort food and a few beers and gins. Service spot on. Many thanks and good luck to you both

At last! Been looking forward to this place opening again, was slightly nervous it would be the same as it was, dank, uninviting dreary and dull. BUT NO! Its now clean, bright, friendly and welcoming. Staff say hello or welcome as you enter, ask you what would you like and serve you with a smile as opposed to the old WMC glower of the past. The food is good quality as is the service from the girls in the restaurant.

This place is a massive plus for Hampthswaite and long may it stay.

A few weeks ago we went to The Joiner’s Arms in Hampsthwaite for lunch. We gathered it had recently reopened after being refurbished. We were greeted very warmly at the door and service was lovely. We don’t really remember what we chose to eat, but we do know that it was delicious. Our visit was memorable for a different reason. One of our party - the wonderful 86-year-old gentleman who I regard as my father-in-law - unfortunately keeled over while we were there. Luckily a GP and a nurse happened to be lunching at the same time and they stepped in. It turned out to have been a dramatic and frightening collapse of blood pressure. Of course, the paramedics were also brilliant and demonstrated the best of proper Yorkshire humour. Before that the landlord Michael was immediately there and calmly and reassuringly talked to John encouraging him back to alertness – with considerable success. How Michael treated one of his customers was just astounding. Amazing, caring and kind.

This hostelry is a gem. We haven’t had the chance to go back yet, but we will. Please share this and go to the Joiner’s Arms if you live there or are passing. Well worth it…… and the “in-laws” are moving to Hampsthwaite in January !
