Can not be many like this - 2017 (66) VW Golf GTI Clubsport S, 2 Owners although it was sold to the keeper with delivery miles on the same registration day for £41,000. Being kept dry stored the car is like new with JUST 2,250 miles.
For the uninitiated, VW built this car to successfully take the front wheel drive Nurburgring record. Only 400 Individually numbered cars were produced and 150 allocated to the UK. All sold out prior to arrival and fetched large premiums over lis...t price to get one.
Only available in Black, Red and White. . Sharing the Golf R tune with 306bhp, the highest power FWD Golf built to date, it was decided to go for the manual gearbox to save 20kg over DSG, rear seats and sound deadening were removed and replace with harness bar, to save another 30kg. . Resulting in a 0-62 of 5.8 Seconds, 165Mph and a 7.49 Min Lap.
It still retained a high spec with some comfort items though.
