this was our second time going there and the food was still outstanding as the first time we went.The staff are so friendly they make you so welcome.defo recommend j's grill if u want great food and Great value for money

Well..... I walked in and the lady said hi... I said hi I'm here to see this guy... He knew who I was due to a convo on fb about where can I get some good chicken in Hitchin and just had to try it. The boss and i were chatting as if we'd known eachother for yrs so instantly you know you're in a place that 110% cares about what you want. Food was great, mixed and matched it up to get a nice variety..... This is so going to be a regular thing now I'm back in H town! Cheers guys and make sure I get some of those peri chips next time �

We have just had our first visit to J’s and I must say how impressed we are, the service was superb the staff so friendly and helpful taking time to explain all our options on the menu the food was absolutely amazing we couldn’t fault anything ! Would highly recommend J’s for it’s all round service and quality and we will definitely be going back. Well done guys keep up the good work �

Used J’s Grill for the first time last night and oh my goodness- it was hands down the best food I’ve had from any takeaway in the area!

The food was delicious, not swimming in grease or full of salt, just really good decent food. Liked the wide range of choices & the options to upgrade meals. The milkshakes were lovely too especially black cherry 😋

The staff were lovely- really friendly & kind & the NHS discount was a wonderful added bonus!

This is the second time we have bern here the first time we had chicken and rice omg that was lovely the rice just melted in my mouth and the chicken was full of flavour.

The service you get is very welcoming and they are very helpful. We went there again tonight with my two boys, the boys wasn’t sure what to have from the children’s menu so the lady got one of the chicken strips for the boys to try to make sure they liked it before we brought it

And what can I say about the milkshakes they are lovely �

This lovely place is great value for money we paid under £20 for a family of four

Seriously good food. Chicken burger is up there as one of the best! generous portions sizes. Great customer service every time, no matter whos serving. Cant think of any better takeaway places in Hitchin.

Really nice! Seems to be family run business serving very tasty chicken. This was our first visit and our first impression was of very friendly staff who were more than accommodating and generous. Can't recommend this place enough! Their chicken wins hands down against Nandos and KFC!! The complimentary chicken strips were lovely and the chilli mint sauce was on the mark! Nice n' spicy

Quick and friendly service, clean preparation and cooking area and delicious food. Tried for the first time today and we'll be back regularly. I had the medium Peri Peri chicken burger which I can wholly recommend. Quite a kick but not too much and really tasty.

Popped in after finding out there was a new chicken shop in town. Lovely friendly team and our order for a Saturday night was really quick.



Great to have chicken now which has a lovely crispy breadcrumb batter.

Loved the fries, please don't change them to the type the chains sell.



I'll be back when the hash browns are in, so I can build a tower burger (heart) (wink)

Nicely presented and damn tasty food and milkshakes. Every time I am in Hitchin, THIS is where I am coming to eat and get my wicked milkshake. Very friendly staff too ���

Just got our first meal from J’s... one word....amazing. Staff really friendly and nothing was too much trouble especially for a fussy one like me. So glad Hitchin finally has a decent chicken shop. We’ll definitely be back. Well done to everyone working there, job well done ��

I would definitely recomend this place! I had the Peri Peri chicken burger meal it was absolutely delicious cooked to perfection and very tasty. Loved the peri chips too. The Staff were so friendly and welcoming. The shop was so clean and tidy credit to you all. We will be back soon.

Had our first Js grill tonight o my god the burger and chips where amazing my wife had pri pri chicken & rice my son a kids meal food out of this world and staff so friendly can’t wait to go back again

We have just enjoyed our first meal from J’s Grill and will definitely be recommending it to everyone.

The fried chicken meal deal was excellent value for money. We chose the two piece meal which came with peri peri coated chips, a drink and

chicken pieces which must have been from a dinosaur size bird as they were massive.

We also sampled the peri peri hot wings which were just as delicious as the original coated chicken.

All of it was freshly cooked and piping hot.



The customer service was second to none and the staff were helpful, friendly and inviting.



We will definitely be returning to our new favourite chicken shop, and recommending it to others �.

By far the best chicken burger I've had in the local area. Not to greasy, great flavour very tasty. Also had the halloumi rice which was incredible and even the chips were great. Would recommend and will be back very soon

Been there twice now and had excellent burgers (chicken breast and then cheese burger). Very friendly staff, even when the place is busy.

After a day from hell and with a cold that came out of nowhere I was not in the mood to cook (even if I had the energy). My son has raved about J's Grill since it opened so we popped in so I could look at the menu. I chose lemon and herb strips and salad with sweet potato fries. The chicken was juicy and fresh with great flavour, the salad was crisp and fresh and the sweet potato fries were crispy and perfectly cooked. I really enjoyed the food. The staff were friendly and helpful, not a long wait and good value. Well done guys

1st visit to J Grills & def not the last ...Ordered a full platter however as it was quite late they had run out but they made a fresh lot which even though was a bit longer wait it was well worth the wait. Really tasty and yummy hot chicken Peri Peri with the excellent service - highly recommend �

1st time there.... food was nice, couple of little hiccups but due to the loveliness of the staff there it did not warrant a complaint 😀 Glad we no longer have to wait over an hour for food like we used to from the place down the road that did the same kind of menu. Portions slightly on the small side from what we are used too...but I'm sure they will have no trouble attracting regular customers 😀
