Js Maintenance, Labouring And Carpentry

Hi everyone, just a quick message to say that I hope everyone is coping well in these weird times. I'm getting a lot of messages at the moment, I think being kept at home is giving everyone time to think about jobs that need doing! Just to say that I will be following guidelines on social distancing and will therefore not be taking on new jobs at the moment, I'm trying to limit my movements as much as possible to keep my family and everyone else's families safe. I am, however, feeling optimistic that this will be over soon (as long as we follow government advice!) so if you want to get in touch via messenger then I will be more than happy to look at dates in the future and give any advice I can. A polite and friendly notice:
As a sole trader, having work cancelled at the last minute has a massive impact on myself and my family who I am supporting. During December I had a significant amount of work cancelled, which is understandable due to the time of year but obviously impacts my business (and my family) quite negatively if I am not given enough time to book in another job.
This has meant that I have had to reevaluate how I book in future jobs to avoid this happening... so have made the decision that as of now (2020) I will be calculating a small deposit when work is booked in. This will vary depending on the size of the job I am booking in and the amount of time it will take. I will then require two weeks notice if a job is cancelled to allow me time to adjust my diary and book in others. If you cancel within two weeks, the deposit is non-refundable. However, if cancelled before you can expect a full refund of this deposit.
I hope that this will be taken well by all my customers (past, present and future) and you can understand why this is now necessary - I am a family man and whilst this is my absolute passion, it's also how I need to make a living.

Another kitchen revamp!

Garage door replacement with made to measure timber doors!

Kitchen refit before and after (just the electrics to be finished). Fun job! ☕🍳🍲

Another album of recent work. This one includes a bespoke outhouse/storage space with a sliding door - I loved this job! Also in the album is a complete bathroom refurb, a bespoke pergola, lots of tiling, flooring, bespoke built in wardrobes, loft stairs, arches and some maintenance on a roof!

This is a hard work 600x600 porcelain tiles being done with sliding 1 penny challenge, to a 100% good end result.

Completed this bathroom last week. Changed the floor, walls, tiling and plumbing!

Really enjoyed designing and building this one complete with a sliding door!
