To all our valued customers, as of this week we will be closing on Sundays. What a discovery. An unassuming little place that delights from the moment one steps over the threshold. Wonderfully attentive and charming staff. Interesting wine selection with plenty of good value bottles and unusual picks (Picpoul, Douro reds) along with a handful of good cocktails. A sensibly short menu that was almost impossible to choose from brought forth four courses of brilliant, assured cooking. Great-tasting ingredients, many local, much made in-house, presented simply and beautifully. It all tasted exceptionally good, from a tender octopus starter to a fat scallop sharing a plate with moist, caper-spiked slow-braised pig’s head - a superb remix of the scallop/pig classic combination. For mains, a pasta dish made with ceps set off the umami klaxon immediately, and a plate of pigeon with peas à la française was an exercise in restraint. Where many chefs would have drizzled sticky stock around the plate, the kitchen chose to let the pigeon and its shroud of ham do the talking, meat-wise, leaving the remaining ingredients to shine through (an impeccable piece of house-made black pud, and those creamy peas braised with onion and lettuce, along with a few crispy potatoes for crunch). A brilliant cheese course followed, with local honey and chutneys, and then a magnificent example of the art of the treacle tart. Sweet without being cloying, it rounded off a memorable meal so nicely.



I can’t recommend this place highly enough. I almost considered looking in the nearby Estate Agents’ window to see how much houses on the Ecclesall Road cost. If you live nearby, you have a great local neighbourhood restaurant that requires numerous visits.

Went for lunch and had a fab meal. The staff were friendly and couldn't enough for us and the KFC sandwich was very tasty. The chef even agreed to make dessert if chocolate delice for us- amazing. Can't wait to go back and try more on the menu.

Went for brunch this week, and was not disappointed at all. Excellent choices on the menu, and all at a very reasonable price, especially when you taste the quality.



I have already booked to go back for the evening menu. Excellent food, lovely setting and a welcome change to the other chain restaurants down Ecclesall rd.

The food is outstanding, cooked to perfection & extremely tasty, the staff can't do enough for you including the chef's....There is only one thing for it & that is to visit this fantastic gem of a place & see for yourselves....�����

We had a really special meal last night at Juke and Loe. The sort of food that takes a lot of work with really interesting flavours that work together brilliantly. Great service and unfussy, unpretentious atmosphere which is a breath of fresh air. Sheffield has been waiting for somthing like this for a long time in my opinion. Expensive but completely worth it - for us somewhere we would go for an occasion or a rare night off as it feels special but relaxed.



Also really lovely to support an independent business obviously run by people that care a lot about the quality of food and service they provide. Fab.

We come to Sheffield annually, took a punt on eating outside of our hotel. So glad we did. Food was absolutely amazing!

Visited in a party of four, service was good and the food even better. Simple but elegant menu, the meat was perfectly cooked with a rich dessert to finish.

Some of the best food we've had in Sheffield! We went for a special birthday meal tonight and loved everything about this restaurant. The staff were really friendly, the food was amazing; beautifully presented and full of flavour.

Oh wow! What can we say - we had the most amazing meal. There were four of us, each having something different and we can honestly say that it was one of the best meals we have ever had!! Beautifully presented dishes, clever use and mix of ingredients and absolutely delicious! Thank you to the chef and the lovely attentive staff.

If I were to describe this place I would say 'exceptional' and an asset to Eccleshall road. A big step above numerous medioca restaurants here is a gem. Fantastic staff, chefs that understand culinary delights and great drinks to accompany. The best lamb main I've had in Sheffield and the port with cheese is stunning. Been there in the evening 3 times and pleasantly impressed on all occasions. Great job guys!

I enjoyed a meal at Juke and Loe over the weekend. Interior was lovely and very clean. The waitress was charming and very attentive. The food was bought out quickly and nice and hot. As a veggie I worried that the vegetarian menu might not be to the same standard as the meat offering but It was superb. The same effort and time has gone into the veggie option as it does the meat. Really impressed.

To top it off the cocktails are brilliant! a real treat. I cannot wait to go back.

Had my anniversary here and I was so lucky they got me a table just an hour before arriving. The food and service were spot on. I will be back :)

Exceptional is a word that has already been used to describe Juke and Loe but I can’t think of a better way to describe it. We were fortunate enough to hire the entire restaurant including the upstairs space for a fabulous 50th birthday celebration for my husband. We we served drinks and canapés upstairs before sitting down to the most amazing food and service for our large party. The dinner menu created for us was elegant yet simple and delighted all our guests with the quality and presentation. Many comments we received described the food as ‘amazing’ and ‘stunning’. We’re looking forward to going back soon but just hope we can get in with all the bookings we expect they will receive ! A fabulous place for lunch, dinner or private parties !
