Interesting job request from a client. Apparently they want me to travel to Basel, Switzerland, to attend a workshop where I'll be required to draw cartoons of the event onto an i-pad.

So these are final proofs for the cartoon strip I've been working on. I now have to start colouring them all by hand using acrylic inks. It's a time consuming process but the end result will be fantastic!

These are the first 2 sketches for a 4 page comic strip for a client. The final product will be mounted and framed to present to the person who features in the comic. I spent 2 hours with the client discussing his needs and talking over the content. There are lots of jokes within the strip that only the client and the recipient will be able to relate to.

Just about to embark on an interesting job. A 4 X A4 page cartoon strip which will be framed and presented as a leaving gift. I have to include the following: The client, the recipient, recipient's girlfriend, Hadron Collider, Archbishop of Canterbury, Land Rover, scaffolder, technical equipment, recipient's man cave. There will be 19 boxes in total and there are a lot of what I refer to as 'in-house' jokes. These are jokes and stories that only the client and recipient will appreciate. The brief was so complicated that I had to have a 2 hour meeting with the client to clarify the storyboard!

I've just become a dad for the second time!

Had a little flurry of work lately.... 1. Guru logo for a money saving website. 2. Double caricature for a couple of newly weds. 3. Booking for a Ford transit used car lot. To include a British themed backdrop and a large group drawing for the management consisting of 8-10 caricatures. 4. Wedding booked for August 28th.... 5. Leisure Centre request for a huge range of characters to be used throughout the premises. However, this is in it's early stages and I need to show them I can adapt my style to their requirements.

My 2nd baby is due any day now!

Double caricature of a couple due to be married on the 29th June. I'm providing them with the original 12"X10" version, but will be producing a smaller version to be stuck to a board measuring 24"X18". This will be on display at their wedding for guests to sign around it, I'm also providing them with the frame so they can display it in their home afterwards.

Currently working on a logo for a moey saving website. The client sent me some rough drawings of a guru which I've expanded on.

So last Saturday I had my daughter's 5th birthday party and I designed and printed the ivites to her school friends. As a surprise gift to the children I am drawing their caricatures on a bespoke backdrop I also designed which shows everything that happened at the party.

After an extremely succesful party for my daughter I now have about 30 caricatures to draw of her friends so she can hand them out on her return to school next Monday. I'll be drawing her own theme which will include balloons, face painter, Macaw, owl, Python, Armadillo, tarantula, guinea pigs, giant snails and a giant bunny!

A interesting day on Saturday. I've got my daughters 5th birthday party planned and I'll be drawing the caricatures of her friends using a unique party theme! Immediately after I've got a wedding booked which is fortunately only a 5 minute drive away.

I have an ebay shop where I sell my caricatures for £7.50 each. There are a LOT of overheads on the site. Monthly fees, commissions to ebay and Paypal, listing fees, envelopes, stamps etc. I'm lucky to get away with a few pound profit from each sale. Someone has just messaged me asking me if I could do a drawing for £6 because "money is tight"! You have to laugh in my job sometimes.

Taken a couple of bookings recently, things are starting to pick up since my move down to Farnham. Wedding booked just 5 minutes away in Seale on the 26th May 50th birthday party booked for 6th October. Word of advice for any potential bookings, dates are limited because most events take place on a weekend so it's always best to secure my services in advance.

This was the completed themed backdrop for a young lads sleepover birthday party with 7 of his friends. I personalised each one by added a design of their choice to their onesie on the night. 2 Sweet designs, Batman, Wonderwoman, Fortnite, Minnie Mouse, Arsenal and Emojies!
