Julia Meanwell Counselling

I have provided a counselling service for over 23 years; the aim of my Facebook page is to inform, inspire and ignite interest in personal development.

We all have the capacity for change but this can feel overwhelming at particularly challenging times in our lives. Every one of us is a work in progress, constantly learning and finding our way in life. Sometimes we just need some additional help.

The issues I work with tend to be varied and wide ranging such as depression, bereavement, anger management, anxiety, abuse, low self-esteem, relationship issues, long term illness, stress and work related stress, sexuality and spirituality. I respect and value your uniqueness as an individual and will work with you in a supportive way towards helping you understand yourself and your situation better.

I offer a warm, safe and non-judgemental space for working with you to identify what your counselling needs are at this point in time. I have a deep commitment to the work I do and believe it is the unique relationship that is forged between client and therapist that is the force for healing and growth. I don't offer free counselling sessions however, if after 30 minutes you decide I am not the counsellor for you there will be no charge

My private practice in Polegate, East Sussex is within easy reach of Hailsham, Heathfield, Lewes, Eastbourne and surrounding villages. Parking is freely available, I am only a 10 minute walk from Polegate railway station and local bus services.
