Julia&Sofia’s Italian restaurants open one Sunday 12th of November 2017.

We called in last night impromptu on our way home from a day at Lightwater Valley. The staff were lovely and seated us straight away. We had our 2 children with us , age 4 and 8, they couldn’t have been nicer to them. We all ordered from the happy hour menu and the food was fantastic, excellent value for money and very tasty. We will definitely be back. Lovely family meal but would also like to go back as a couple/with friends so we could make a night of it. Brilliant place.

Visited this restaurant last night for the first time and we loved it! The food was delicious and the service is brilliant. It has a very authentic feel making the atmosphere really lovely. We are 100% be going back (In fact we have already rebooked for after Xmas). Not a bad word to say about this fantastic new place in the village.

Thoroughly enjoyed a family meal here last night. I'd heard good reports about the restaurant but never imagined what an excellent experience it actually proved to be. It's a great place for the family and has a lovely Mediterranean atmosphere; it's lively and exciting. Seven of us agreed that the meal was delicious, the service excellent, the prices reasonable - and the merlot ( oh... that merlot!). We shall be back!

Superb food and service. Just returned from a birthday lunch with the grand children but will definitely be going back. The tiramisu is amazing!

Me and my boyfriend came here today as heard great reviews, which we weren't disappointment with the staffs were attentive, and the food was lovely we will definitely be back x

Lovely food. However it is the staff and management that make this my new favourite place. They care about your experience and bend over backwards to deliver a service that is above and beyond. Manager even offered to drive us home when we asked to call a taxi to ensure we got home safe. A wonderful and refreshing change. Real family restaurant second to non.

Just had our first meal here tonight for a special birthday. Food was excellent and staff couldn't have been more welcoming. Would certainly recommend this restaurant and can't wait to return.

I went last night and from the moment we entered the restaurant to the moment we left we were made to feel extremely welcome. The place was quite busy and at times quite loud but these were people enjoying themselves so I wouldn't knock that too much. The food was a nice choice with plenty of options without being too many and the small selection of specials sounded lovely. We both enjoyed all three courses, the chips were lovely fat homemade chips. There was a bit of a wait between the starters and the main course but probably not a bad thing. We just had soft drinks and they were reasonable for a meal out. All in all a very nice evening and we will definitely be returning.

I love this place. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The staff are so friendly and service is great.

Had an amazing night last night at this restaurant. Can't recommend it enough.... Excellent service, fab atmosphere, and food was beautiful, especially the lobster. We celebrated my mams birthday and the waiters were lovely with her and even brought out a surprise dessert and sang happy birthday to her, we thought this was a lovely gesture.Thanks again for a great night we will be back!

Had an amazing meal today with the kids the staff are so friendly and the food was amazing kids said and we agreed it was the best meal we've had in ages and they ran to bar to tell them that, I highly recommend the lasagna and the fettuccine Alfredo will definitely be coming back

Had a lovely evening here for my fathers 80th Birthday. Food was lovely and the staff were very attentive. In fact they could not do enough for us! Keep up the good work! Will definitely return!

Another fab visit. First time with the kids and all of the staff were great with them. The children’s portions are huge! Food first class. Service excellent as always!

A wonderful dinner with impeccable service, a perfect evening. However, when the Maitre’d rang for a taxi for us he was told it would be 2 hours (the weather was dreadful). To our amazement he offered to drive us back to Bishop Middleham before he had the 45 minute drive home. We gratefully accepted and so he took us home. We were so impressed , certainly this was going above and beyond what we would expect . Thank you so much, you made our night and we can’t wait to visit again.

Wonderful food , house wine was the the best house we’ve had and staff were lovely! However we were politely asked if we would move into the waiting area to finish our drinks at 8-50 , this being an area not conducive to holding a group conversation. Spoilt a lovely evening!
