Julie Baugh School Of Ballet

Maidenhead ballet school based on RAD Ballet grades for children 3 years up to and including adults.

Julie Baugh School of Ballet is based in Furze Platt Memorial Hall. Classes are held on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Graded classes based on the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus are held weekly for children from 3 years of age up to and including adults, with pianist accompaniment. The aim is not only to instruct dancing, but also to improve deportment, encourage musical appreciation and assist in general development and co-ordination. If desired children are entered into examinations for which a high standard of success has been maintained.

The Principal Julie Baugh LRAD, ARAD, AISTD, AICh examiner of the Royal Academy of Dance (retired), trained at the Royal Academy of Dance, later taught for 3 years in the school of the Stuttgart Ballet under the directorship of John Cranko, also examined for many years for the Royal Academy of Dance.

Our teaching staff are fully qualified, DBS checked, first aid qualified and trained in safeguarding children.
