We stayed here through national holidays. The rooms were lovely and clean, the staff were friendly. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and rated 10/10 by our 8year old grandson! Great selection to choose from. The only disappointment was the evening meal, this was included in the price on our deal and it was a real let down. Minimal choice and some odd food combinations meant that I really didn't enjoy it, made up for it with the pudding which was gorgeous.

Would definitely stay again.

Stayed here last weekend for my birthday and we had a lovely time. perfect location to Harry Potter studios and a 5 min walk to the train station where you can get the train into London which takes 20min. Arrived to find lovely banners in the room and on my actual birthday we came back to find a lovely cheese cake with a birthday message on the plate. Staff were lovely, breakfast was gorgeous, the room service food let us down but the manager was very quick to fix this. Would definitely recommend

Spotless good food bit pricey on drinks but which hotel isn’t

User

Overnight stay for work. Friendly helpful reception staff, lovely clean room, lovely evening meal (touch pricey but good quality) and excellent breakfast. Will be staying here occasionally in the future so really good first impression.

Never stayed at a Jurys Inn before. Great central location. Apparently there used to be a car park opposite but this is being built on. The best car park is in Suttton Street and is about an extra 1 minute walk. The hotel has a 15 minute drop off area right next to the hotel for those heavy bags. Great rooms, great nights sleep. Complimentary bottle of wine on check in and a really well priced bar. Great breakfast this morning. All the staff were really friendly from front desk to housekeeping. My wife and I will definitely stay at a Jurys Inn the next time. Well done.

User

Lovely hotel, clean, comfortable and modern rooms. Lovely food. Staff are very friendly and welcoming and go above and beyond to help. Every member of staff greets you as you pass and are happy to help. Will definitely stay again.

I was very nervous arriving as it was my first time traveling since being registered disabled. The staff went above and beyond on my arrival and even sorted out my luggage from the car.

The room is very comfortable and easily wheelchair accessible. Shower is well designed too.

I still have a few days here but do feel comfortable and not too apprehensive now.

Well done Jury’s Inn A*

User

Fantastic hotel staff are lovely! Went out of there way to accommodate us on our overnight stay. Highly recommend

We like the Jurrys Inn Watford. The staff are so friendly and helpful and the rooms are clean to a high standard and comfortable. The bathroom could do with a lick of paint. One the first night we eat in the restaurant and was really not impressed for the prices. We had steak that came with a few chips and a few old lettuce leaves. The pudding was awful I had cheesecake that should of come with a mango sorbet but came with crystallized ice cream and my partner had sticky toffee pudding that was a tiny rectangle shape that was like leather and came with crystallized ice cream and our bill came to nearly £60 it really wasn't worth the money and we were so disappointed with the food. When we went up to our room we had a menu for room service and there's far more to choose from on that than in the restaurant. On our last night we ordered room service and we loved the food it was great really worth the money and we had big portions of food and the same puddings as we had in the restaurant and they were gorgeous a huge portion and came with what it said. If you want to eat there I really recommend the room service.

User

Rooms clean and spacious, staff very polite and friendly only problem we found was that the car park was a few minutes walk away from the hotel, and although it was subsidised, still had to pay every time we used the car (this of course isn't the hotels fault - just a bit inconvenient in the rain).

Didn't try the breakfast in the hotel however it's a 2 minute walk away from Wetherspoons and there is also greene king a short walk away too (works out cheaper with little ones etc)

All in all a lovely hotel and I would stay again.

User

Only stayed a night and just used the hotel room (so can't comment on other facilities). All staff we came into contact with were helpful and friendly. Room/bathroom was very spacious and clean, my partner and me had a great night sleep, bed comfy and blackout curtains were great.

Small issue was the tv wasn't placed very well, might have just been our room, but it wasn't central to the bed (we're both super lazy and like watching tv in bed).

Also, doesn't have their own parking on site and we had a bit of a nightmare trying to find the recommended parking site due to all the deadends/one ways!! Got there eventually though, we're obviously not very good at navigating.

Would definitely stay here again though :)

User

On a national holiday trip. Didn't expect a hotel as nice as this. Our provided food was nice and I'd definitely go back!

User

Lovely hotel, very central to the town centre, rooms are very nice. Only thing that lets it down is no car park on site! You have to cross the road and go round the corner to a multi-storey car park! Not ideal when you have heavy bags, also not sure if the safety of the car overnight??? Apart from that very good. Friendly staff and a well stocked bar.

User

It was in a brilliant location, central to everything. Very well presented and the rooms were great. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. A few negatives though - the seats in the bar and restaurant looked great but we're so uncomfortable, the food is really overpriced for what you get with the breakfast being tasteless and it's not great when the carpark doesn't have a carpark and you have to carry heavy bags from where you can park for payment.

So it just needs some extra touches put in and then it would be a 5*

User

Great hotel this is my second visit , location is great for trains to London , lovely clean fresh rooms , food is really good and full menu available as room service. Absolutely no negatives staff friendly and happy to help . Will return very soon .

User

Came with a national holiday lot from East Yorkshire. Food was lovely, rooms were soooo nice.. however, for tea we was in a small conference rooms with business like tables all sat together. Really didnt like that, everybody said how awkward it was. But the food went down a treat. The bar prices were incredible! Was so shocked to see them so cheap for a hotel! breakfast was a lot better, we was in the dining room where everybody had their own table. Overall, i would stay here again!

User

The jury is out on Jurys Inn. Perfect for Harry Potter yes. Rooms clean yes. Service is lacking. Ordered coffees from the bar only for waitress to disappear for 15 minutes whilst serving me to deal with someone else. Ordered 5 meals only to get 4. ( Great Piri Piri takeaway down the road. ) We were then kept awake all night by idiots running up and down the corridors. Finally , checked out and were we asked if we'd enjoyed our stay.... NO !

User

I stay here often, It is a nice hotel, but the lack of parking, and the fact you have to pay £5 to use the Gym which is in another location, does not make it a 4 or 5 rating. It is not a cheap hotel, so really disappointed with the lack of Gym especially..
