It is with regret that I implemented a cancellation policy. For clarity, appointments that are cancelled with less than 24hours notice will still be asked to pay 50% of the cost of the groom. With enough notice I can generally rearrange with minimal disruption or fill vacated appointments.
I hope you will appreciate the impact on my business if I can not fill the appointment times allocated.

My own dogs never seem to get a pamper as much as they should and so consequently Bear in particular gets wet and muddy!! They got new coats to avoid the need for constant washing after muddy walks! Bear loves his Maya, less impressed! 🤣

Maya and Bear have been eating a raw food diet for a couple of months now to see if it helps Maya with their itchy skin! She loves it all, Bear less certain about some of the darker meats so he has to have it cooked a little!!! I now think they eat better than I do!! #rawfooddiet #Northamptonrawfood

Earlier this evening, 6:45pm, I found a little Yorkshire Terrier lady on the High Street in Kislingbury, directly opposite the entrance to Lichfield Close.
She was very frightened and a little snappy but only because she was afraid I think.
... A passerby told me she thought she cane from Dukes Green Road so I tried houses around there and on the High Street where she was found, unfortunately no one recognised her.
I have taken her to Vets 4Pets in St.James tel. 01604 753300. She isn’t chipped but has clearly been well looked after as she is well fed and has a beautiful collar on! Please share and let her owners know where she is!

It is with a very heavy heart that two of my customers have recently called me to say they need to rehome their fur babies. Does anyone know of quality homes that may be interested in these two lovely dogs.

Hi everyone, I hope everyone is enjoying the summer holidays and all your gorgeous pups are enjoying some respite from the intense heat of earlier.
I have had a busy summer but unfortunately had some very last minute cancelled appointments that I have been unable to fill with such short notice. This is very disappointing as my summer appointments are usually very much in demand and with some notice the appointment could be re allocated.

Hello! Bear and Maya are forcing me to take them on holiday next week so I won’t be answering messages or voice mails as quickly as normal. However, with the summer holidays upon us I only have very limited availability. I hope you all have a great summer and keep enjoying our glorious weather!!!!

Little Eddie the Mini Schnauser made his first visit to the groomers this week! He enjoyed a bath and a feet and nail trim. To distract him from what was going on we tied a toy to the H bar for him to play with! I think it worked and hopefully he knows how much fun it is to be pampered!!! This little chap, Bertie, came to see me yesterday for the first time. He still had a bit of hair growing to do on his top knot and legs but he still left looking pretty sharp I thought!

All this snow can be lots of fun but please remember to check your doggies (and some longhaired cats) for any signs of 'snowballs' when you get home.
The best way to get rid of these is to gently wet the coat with warm water (not hot) then when all the snow is removed scrunch the coat in a towel to dry or use a hair dryer gently on a low heat setting and run through with a brush or comb to ensure there are no knots.
Make sure you DO NOT pull the snow off as this can be very... painful!

Today was my first day back of the New Year and after a very exciting trip to Lapland! I can’t resist posting a few picture of the Husky’s I had the pleasure of meeting while there!! Such clever animals and smaller than I thought! Wishing you all a very happy 2018 xx

New look of the day has to be awarded to Blake the handsome Irish Setter. He is 6 years old and has developed a fairly heavy coat. His proud hoomum and dad were fed up with the curse of the 'sticky green balls' and hoped for his coat to be thinned out whilst not losing his setter looks! A very dapper chap I think!

Transformation of the day came late but was worth it when little Teddy the CavaPoo came in for his first ever trim up! Although his hair is curly and long his hoomum had done a super job of keeping him relatively knot free for saying it was his first hair appointment and he is 8mths old! He was very very brave and settled really well enjoying lots of tasty treats to help him along the way!!! See you soon Teddy!

I had to take Bear over to Weedon Vets on Tuesday morning after he picked up a couple of grass seeds in his ear and so thought it useful to share their blog in the subject! I thought I had done a good thing by dropping some warm oil in Bears ear and massaging it in the hope to push the seed out, but apparently this is not a good thing to do! Just call the vet and get them to remove the seed!
Keep your fur babies well groomed and while grooming pay close attention to the ears and feet to check for seeds!
I hope this will be our only encounter with them this year!

Wonderful, justine did a great job understanding what would look good on Purdy and reduce the amount of fur yo make her cooler, Lovely environment, we will be going again and highly recommend just for paws for other dog owners, thanks Justine great job

We have only just adopted Jack so he is a little nervous but Justine was amazing or so Patient with him. He smells and looks lovely. We will definitely use you again and I would also recommend you to my friend.

Used Justine at just 4 paws for the first today for my 2 cocker x shih tzus and she’s done an amazing job!! One is normally a bit sensitive to new places and can be nervous when clipped however Justine has took good care of him. Will definitely be using regularly :) thanks Justine!

Took my puppy a labradoodle for her first ever groom. I can highly recommend Justine, she put Doodle's at easy as well as myself. Doodles now looks and smells a different dog. Very reasonably priced, will definitely be back. Thank you.

Took Toby for the first time to Just 4paws with the lovely Justine. Toby came away looking like a handsome Cockapoo with a smart haircut, wash and groom. Justine was fab, asked lots of questions about Toby and what I like/don’t like etc which was great as not all owners like the same. Lovely set up and Toby came out wagging his tail. Would definitely recommend.

The best doggy hairdresser in Northamptonshire, my boys love Justine. I get dragged through the gate just so they can get their cuddles and start their spa treatments, both come home relaxed and smelling and looking gorgeous

So very happy, I have a gorgeous clean and tidy pooch again, would definitely recommend just 4paws to everyone, Daisy dog was so content to be there and was made very welcome, thanks x

My little girl Milly is only six months old and was getting quite knotty, so on recommendation I booked for her to visit Just 4 Paws. Milly was pampered for an hour and a half and when I collected her she looked like a different dog. I am so pleased with how Milly has been cut, she smells amazing and looks fantastic. I would highly recommend Justine and her fabulous grooming service. Not only did our Bichon, Lily, look great but I think she was upset to come home after having a lovely time :)

I took our 9 month old sprocker in for a groom, i was nervous about how Ozzie would react as he previously had a bad experience with a different grooming saloon so became nervous after this but when we took him in today at Just4paws both ladies were very welcoming and understanding. Ozzie was happy to stay for his groom. He had a lovely bath and cut , he looks fantastic. Ozzie was so happy he would have stayed there all day. I have got him home and he is still wagging his tail. Thank you very much and Ozzie will certainly be back again soon.

I took my son and daughter in laws two springer spaniels Hugo and Poppy for their first 'spring groom' today, it's a shame I can't put before and after photos on the review as you'd see that the results are just brilliant. � Both Justine and Sarah were very friendly and professional and put myself and the dogs at ease. Would certainly recommend Just 4 Paws and will be using them again.

I took Toby for his first visit to Justine last Thursday, he loved her when he met her, (that is normal as he loves everyone), but more important was the fact he loved her just as much after she had groomed him. I am so pleased with his grooming and lovely clean soft coat, before Justine groomed him it was hard work brushing him, she has made such a fantastic difference to his coat it is now a pleasure. I am so happy to be able to leave my boy knowing he will be well cared for that I have already booked his next appointment. Thank you again Justine.

I have two Beardie girls and due to Lupus struggle to keep them looking perfect these days. They love going to see Justine and come back looking wonderful. They get clipped a couple of times a year too. Highly recommend Just4paws 😊

I had been recommended but couldn't believe how caring and professional Justine was she took the time to talk to me and my 'boys' about what I wanted them to look like. I am absolutely going to rebook our 2 dachshunds in for another trim.Justine is a lovely lady who had our boys best interests at heart.We have struggled to find somebody to trim them in recent months but Just 4 Paws was recommended by a friend,after a quick email we were booked in and on arrival the boys were nervous but soon relaxed enough to be pampered.

I couldn't ask for anymore with their shampoo and cut they look and smell so good.

I was also answered quickly by email on their upkeep and shampoo choices for them.

I recommend Justine as she has by far surpassed other groomers I have encountered and really has a perfect way with dogs.��

Humbug looks so smart now that Justine has worked her magic. He was so happy and relaxed when I collected him. Thank you so much. Will definitely be back and will recommend to others!
