It’s been just over a month since K Frank Opticians relocated to the Whaley Bridge practice - Jenks Burgess Opticians. The building work is completed and we are currently fitting it out.
We have seen many Offerton patients already at JB, which has been wonderful! The overwhelming feedback was - “it’s not as far as we thought!”.

Today is officially the last full day... (Monday has become overspill day!) After 9,645 days, K Frank Opticians is closing and all patients will be automatically registered with our sister practice, Jenks Burgess Opticians in Whaley Bridge. Important information regarding K Frank Opticians in Offerton:
As a valued patient, you will have received a letter recently regarding the plans for the practice. In summary, we have taken the difficult decision to close the practice as of 30th September 2019. This is so we can invest in and develop our other practice, Jenks-Burgess (JB) Opticians in Whaley Bridge, and we are currently midway through a practice upgrade. The great news is you do not need to do anything as you...r records will automatically transfer and you will be invited for a sight test when it’s due. Likewise, if you are an Eyeplan member - your benefits will continue to be provided by JB.
This is a period of mixed emotions for Karen and the team. We have been a central part of the Offerton community for over 26 years and met many wonderful people. However, we are really excited about the future at Whaley Bridge! We really hope you will be part of this new phase of our journey and look to welcoming you at JB soon 🤓
