Welcome to Kalma Mamas a beautifully unique pregnancy relaxation program. Created by yoga teachers, anatomy specialists and midwives. Empowering women through pregnancy with the use of breathing, mindfulness and inspired stretching. Kalma Mamas is a weekly relaxation session, incorporating stretching and breathing to help combat pregnancy ailments and is suitable no matter how you choose to birth. It gives you an opportunity to take some time out of your busy week to enjoy being pregnant, prepare for birth and connect with your baby. Classes are filled with practical tips and are great way to meet other mums-to-be. We aim to cover elements of pregnancy both pre and post-natal ensuring health and well-being for mothers is our priority. Relaxation once you become a mother is incredibly beneficial for your emotional and mental wellbeing as you pick your way through the challenges of caring for your family whilst keeping sight of you and your needs. You can't give what you don't have so if you want to give your child a harmonious, calm, gentle upbringing, you need a solid base of calm, centred relaxation. Once your baby has arrived, you are welcomed back for our excellent course for your 4th trimester from birth to 6 weeks to experience relaxation and recuperation and learn holds and techniques to give you confidence in handling your new baby.

Tell me about the length of classes? Sessions are 60-90 minutes. We run a rolling program from 12 weeks pregnant up to 6 weeks post-natal. The classes are pre-booked in 6 weeks blocks to cover all content. Comfy non-restricting clothes and socks are advisable. A blanket will be provided for relaxation, but you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.

The breath- Reducing Post Natal Depression, breath through pregnancy, labour, beyond
Digestion – Morning sickness, keeping regulated
Muscular Skeletal – Aches and pains, stretches to support, stretches aiding labour
Circulation and uterus – Chakras, Birthing plans, blood flow
Brain – Sleeping, PND, Baby brain!
Lymphatic- Keeping mobile, stretches for mobility, reduction of swelling
