Ron Saunders started his automotive and motorcaravan business in 1963. He started at another premises called Poole Harbour Garage, in 1963 and stayed there right up until 1983 where upon Pottery Service Station was acquired and we moved the 200 yards from one place to the other as the facilities were far superior.

Ron was hands on in charge from the very onset virtually right up to just months before he died back in November 2008.


At this point in time Brother and Sister Andy and Sue, who have both been with the business for over 30 years, took control of the reigns and have continued with the same polite but yet sometimes direct approach to running a business. 50 years we have been selling on the same road, doesn't that say something special?
