Karas Plating Ltd are working to a brighter cleaner future for all after recent process changes we are now chromate and lead free on all our chemical processes. Image shows our zinc trivalent passivations in clear, black and yellow passivations we offer Iridite NCP as an alternative to Alocrom 1200 and our electroless nickel solutions are lead and cadmium free.
Karas Plating Ltd are also a step closer to gaining there Environmental permit which we hope to acquire before the end of this year

Yet another busy week at Karas Plating Ltd Started the week with an interesting trip to Huddersfield looking to take on some parts for tin plating, Wednesday saw a trip to Birmingham to visit a couple of existing customers one that has been a slow burner with us for a number of years and we hope that we can start to offer a more substantial service to them. Then a trip up to Cumbria on Thursday to follow up a recent quote that I had submitted to a potential new customer. Wow... Been a fantastic week for Karas Plating Ltd started the week by collecting parts for zinc plate and de-embrittle from a customer visit last week in Rochdale. Yesterday was spent in Co Durham on a customer visit looking at potentially copper plating parts for the oil and gas industry and today we have these parts for gold anodise ready for collection after agreeing a 24 hour turn around with the customer.

Refurbished copper contacts. After being in service and in an effort to cut costs our customer has taken the option to recycle as many copper castings as possible to keep there spend down. These pictures show the castings as received once brazing a new contact tip to the casting has been completed. On receipt of the casting Karas Plating Ltd has masked the contact tip before blasting the casting clean and silver plating to 5 microns. Karas plating Ltd can offer many plated finishes with 9 plating lines and 24 hour opening on new and refurbished parts.
