For the M of care, we've gone with mental health. A hugely important part of our lives, mental health affects our office staff, carers and clients alike. Taking time to check on your friends and family is hugely important, as is ensuring you look after yourself! We offer care to a number of clients who require support with mental health problems, and all our staff are fully trained to deal with this.

For L, we have chosen learning difficulties. Autism support work is just one of the many services we offer; assisting both children and adults with various aspects of their lives. Kare Plus are looking for a care coordinator to help provide high quality care to clients in the Preston area. The role will be a combination of administration work and field work, meaning time will be split between working in our Preston-based office and going out on visits across the local area. A successful candidate will take the lead in allocating shifts to our team of carers who are working with vulnerable adults across the Preston, Leyland and Chorley region, whilst al...so undertaking regular visits and monitoring the success of our carers.
Your duties will include: • Sourcing candidates for shifts and liaising with clients • Visiting clients and care staff • Managing a team of carers and a range of care packages • Evaluating the success of our staff and the viability of potential clients • Taking a share of the on-call service once fully trained

The ideal candidate must have a background in homecare or a similar envoronment, and be keen to progress their career to the next level. They must be outgoing, confident and easy to get along with whilst also showing the compassion and patience expected from a successful care worker.

For the G of care, we've chosen GDPR Compliant. Although we have now left the EU, it's still hugely important that we abide by EU regulations until a withdrawal agreement comes into effect. We employ an incredibly diverse range of staff at Kare Plus Preston, with many of these coming from Europe, so it will always be essential that we stick to the same essential guidelines as other European countries.
