Kartec Car Services is an established 24 hour Roadside Assistance & Recovery Breakdown Service with a fully operational Workshop and a number of skilled Mechanics. We have been operating since 1987 and been based in Watford Business Park, Hertfordshire for 18 years.

Kartec has worked with many big names in the Recovery Industry. We offer Roadside Assistance, Recovery Breakdown and a Workshop that can do just about anything! The services stated can be utilised for mopeds to commercial trucks and heavy goods vehicles.

Kartec Car Services are very lucky to be able to offer our customers such a wide range of vehicles. We have Roadside vehicles which can easily be turned into a Recovery vehicle for those smaller vehicles, Spec Lifts for the Transits, Fully Demountable Flatbeds for those 'modified /lowered' cars and the commercial fleet which can lift a fully loaded heavy goods vehicle off its side, recover Military Tanks, buses and coaches. All our Roadside and Recovery operatives are trained specifically for their line of work.

We also have a Workshop at our Base in Watford Business Park, Hertfordshire. We can carry out motorcycle /vehicle /commerical repairs, along with MOT & Servicing bays. Our MOT's take 1 hour to be completed and we give you an update as to which repairs are required (if necassary). Our Workshop hours are 0800-1700 Mon- Fri, 0800-12noon Sat.

Kartec Car Services are currently able to MOT Class 4 Vehicles (Classs 4 includes the following cars, ambulances, taxi's, private vehicles up to 12 seats) and Class 7 Vehicles, (Class 7 includes Goods Vehicle over 3000kg but no heavier than 3500kg). We are more than able to MOT Motorhomes. We have a waiting area with a hot drinks machine, television and customer female /male toilets. We also offer an MOT Viewing area for those who wish to watch.

Our Offices /Main Reception is open Monday - Friday 0900-1700, and the telephone number is 01923210209. There is a Free Car-Park opposite our Offices.

MOT appointments are 0800-1700 Mon-Fri, 0800-1200noon Saturdays, and Sundays are strictly by appointment only, please call our Reception Team for details.
