Yesterday I attended Kate's one to one day course and it was fantastic! We did three looks together and I'm proud of each one. I left feeling confident in my application and work. Kate is so lovely and genuine and really makes you feel at ease. I will definitely be coming back for more lessons soon! She's worth every penny and more xxxxxxxx

Today I had my Bridal Trial with Kate and I have to say I'm sooo impressed!
I suffer with really oily skin and it was a huge concern of mine but Kate assured me everything will be fine and that she was right, I have had make up on all day and it still looks flawless, Thank you so much Kate, I love it and it's made me more and more excited for our big day ❤️ cant recommend Kate enough!! Loved every second... I attended a 2 day course for make up artist to learn new skills. even though I was a face canvas for my MUA, I picked up some amazing hints and tips from the master that is miss Hayes... What I particularly loved was that main products weren't pushed, cheaper alternatives were suggested which clearly shows it wasn't a money game but a true masterclass by a phenomenal MUA, who has massive passion for her art.... absolutely brilliant.

Kate is amazing. She is thorough and extremely creative =) She was patient and totally dedicated to helping me achieve potential in my one to one class. Couldn't praise her enough ❤️ Southampton all the way to Liverpool and i would do it again and again #1 xxx
Kate is amazing! Did my best friends wedding makeup and mine and it looked stunning all day! Kate did her mum and sister aswell even though they weren't booked, this was no problem and Katie didn't rush them or anything. kate is so lovely and friendly and is doing so amazing in her business, can't wait to come the academy when it's set up

Just finished doing the 2 day intensive make up course at Kate Hayes Academy. I have to say it’s the best course I have attended in my years of doing make up. Kate herself was really friendly and helpful so was her apprentice Megs. I learned really useful tips and techniques of how to apply make up professionally with guidance throughout. You could tell how passionate Kate was about teaching and her love for make up, not only did she teach us make up but she gave us tips about the business, social media and knowledge of products. I felt comfortable in her lovely studio and her mum even nipped our to get us all lunch. Would definitely recommend it to anyone starting a career in make up or anyone wanting to further their skills and gain a qualification. Thanks again KHM Team �
I have just painted my first lot of faces since completing the 2 day course with KHM on Tuesday and I have improved so much!! I cannot wait to see what I'll be doing next and I couldn't have done it without the help from Kate and her amazing team���
I can't begin to tell you about the experience my daughter had at Kate Hayes,after suffering from Social Anxiety & being diagnosed with Autism late she has struggled in everyday life and it was such a massive thing for her to step into this salon.All the staff at Kate Hayes were so friendly and made her experience the best. It was emotional to watch her go from struggling to go out, to be talking with the girls and sharing tips Thankyou all xxx
Had the best experience. Lovely service and lovely staff too. Dealt with Jordan who did my hair which she did amazing!! And she was honestly so lovely and made me feel so welcome. Also spoke to one of the makeup artists too who was also so lovely, even though I weren't getting my makeup done she also interacted with me and made conversation. Jordan and Olivia are an absolute credit to the academy and I will definitely be coming back again! �

As a trainer, Kate is patient and revises everything to ensure you “get it”. Would highly recommend.

Visited the salon as part of a hen doo. The girl who did my makeup- Kate- was super; she explained what she was doing, asked me what I wanted and added a few changes which I loved. I was super happy with my final look. As a large group, the makeup artists catered well for us and most of us loved our makeup.
Unfortunately, the bride wasn't amazed with hers and needed some things changed. Kate, again was great, and helped make the brides makeup more suitable as the original makeup artist-Olivia- wasn't very helpful and refused to change to what the bride wanted.
One thing that did strike me though was the lack of individual brushes for each client: the same mascara brush was used for the clients, the same lipgloss wand and the makeup brushes didn't seem to be sprayed with sanitiser after each use. As a well known makeup salon, we all expected to see this as it is what we are used to.
Overall, a good experience and would recommend this and advise clients to show and discuss makeup first with artist as this helps them know exactly what you want.
