When we moved into our new house we noticed the area had a lot of cats roaming about. It became clear that although some had homes, others didn't. As animal lovers we started to feed the cats and grew to become very fond of them, the cats eventually adopted us! Unfortunately as we have a budgie we couldn't let the cats inside our house to roam free when we were out so had to think of a solution and that is where the idea for KatKennel.com came from. We wanted the cats to be warm, dry and comfortable so we built a kennel from quality wood that had a carpet floor, felted roof and had a cat flap for good measure (although the cats are nosey and prefer to look out! ) It is raised off the ground to avoid rain and snow and has a porch to keep food dry. The kennel was a huge hit with the cats and soon attracted admirers wanting to know where thy could get one. The answer is now HERE! We love our cats and they love their KatKennel.com.
