Spicy Curry leaf
the best hotel in uk.....................
What a refreshing change from the generic Indian food normally seen in the menu. A really
and enjoyable meal and to think it’s healthy too! 100% recommend
Try fish and paratha. Appam is also good. Dosai is very very expensive.
Lovely food friendly staff 5* service. I have been there 3 times in two weeks. Awesome.
Lovely food and very friendly service, speeded up for us due to cinema tickets. The kallappam were delicious!
Great tasty food at good value for money & good friendly service
Great food nice staff, good location and venue
Great food and service, will definitely return
Good quality fresh & delicate flavours. Attentive staff & very affordable dishes. Mmmmm!
First time here, the food was lush and the staff were really friendly
Everything was just perfect and staff were friendly
Delicious food again as always!
By far my favourite restaurant in Nottingham and now beautifully refurbished. Staff very friend and attentive and the food was delicious. Very fast service. Can’t wait to go back.
Absolutely amazing food
Nice food and not expensive. Bit cold as heating broken.
Awwww what a shame, after raving to friends about Kayal we booked in again with some friends and was looking forward to showing them what they had been missing out on.
An 8:30 booking took us to 10:30 before we received our main course, the staff did bring us a couple of bottles of wine but only after they could see we were a bit p**sed off.
It kind of put a dampener on the night and meant we missed our last bus and an extra £20 for a taxi was in order. Having paid £160 for the meal I felt a bit miffed.
Starters were great (when they arrived) main course cold and average.
Will I be back again? On the back of that, NO.
Shame
Squid starter was supposed to come with coconut chutney but didn't and this was not communicated to us until it came. Chicken stew was average at best. Kallappam I was expecting to be like a coconuty naan bread according to the description but was more like a flavourless pancake which was too disgusting to eat. Atmosphere was good but the food was so disappointing that I will certainly not be back.
