KBI’s most recent installation in Ashbrooke, Sunderland, Tyne and Wear
Customer was happy with their bathroom and wanted to keep most of it as it was but wanted the bath removed and replaced with a walk in shower with new surround.
Installed in this project is a new Bristan thermostatic shower, 1700x800mm stone resin shower tray, 1000mm screen with hinged panel, 3 panel designer radiator, tile effect click lock vinyl flooring and 2400x1200mm shower panels.
... Not many people consider shower panels as they don’t know about them, however we feel that they are a very nice alternative to tiling or UPVC cladding, and really make the shower area a feature in the room.

Click vinyl flooring installed this morning. Moisture resistant non slip bathroom flooring. A cheaper alternative to tiles but we think it’s just as nice

KBI’s most recent installation in Murton, Co.Durham
A full rip out was required on this bathroom including fully re-plumbing all in copper pipework, removing and replacing an old cast iron soil stack, this was done to remove all boxing in from bathroom. We found 3 layers of tiles on the walls which we completely stripped back including removing old plaster to go back to the bare brick.
... We replaced the standard bath and replaced it with a L-shape bath, with a fixed head shower. The basin, pedestal and standard toilet was replaced with a L - shape maze unit combined toilet and basin/vanity unit. The original towel warmer was placed in a bad place behind a door to which we relocated to a more appropriate place in the bathroom, for easy reach of towels as getting out of the bath. Ceiling cladded in plain white with 4 low energy LED spotlights The wall and floor tiled in matching large format 600x300mm porcelain tiles. and to finish it off KBI gave a complimentary set of towels.

We removed bath and electric shower and installed a 1700x 800 mm tray, screen, thermostatic shower and cladding to walls around shower area.

Whole bathroom re plumbed and pipework hidden under floorboards to remove boxing. 1700mm bath removed and replaced with a larger 1800mm L shape bath with taps in a new position. Electric shower removed and replaced with a thermostatic mixer shower.... Radiator replaced with a towel warmer, and pipe work adjusted for pipes to come out of wall instead of floor. New basin and toilet. Walls tiled in large format tiles. Floor tiled in wood effect tiles. Plain white cladding on ceiling with spotlights.

We installed a new wc in a new position, installed new shower cubicle with new shower, installed vanity unit and tall boy storage, and installed new waterproof vinyl flooring.
