I am seeing a lot of problems lately with Windows 10 computers running very slowly. Have you noticed yours slowing down considerably lately?
If so, it could be down to 100% hard disk usage. This appears to be an increasingly common problem at the moment, and can be tricky to resolve.

I have posted this before, but it is still such a common problem that I thought it worthwhile to mention it again. Please feel free to share.
Having had a number of faulty laptops to repair recently, I thought it a good idea to share some helpful tips with you.
The two most common causes of laptop problems are overheating and rough handling.
... Laptops get hot and need a good airflow for cooling. Always use your laptop on a hard, flat surface, never on a soft surface like a bed or the carpet, or indeed on your lap! If you want to use it on any of these surfaces then put something hard and flat, like a tray, under it first. Also, make sure that all the vents underneath and to the side of your laptop are kept clear of dust and fluff.
The most fragile moving part in your laptop is the hard drive.
Sudden knocks can easily cause damage to the hard drive and result in loss of data. It is always a good idea to back up data to an external hard drive, or indeed to the cloud, if you can.
Handle your laptop with care and make sure it doesn't overheat, and you could save hundreds in repair bills, not to mention the danger of losing your treasured photos and files.

A new version of the Facebook app has been released for iPhone and iPad users.
Unfortunately the option to order your news feed by most recent items has been removed from the top of the news feed page.
It is still possible to change to 'most recent', but it is now buried.

Now that Windows XP is no longer supported by Microsoft, any potential security issues are not being fixed. A serious one has already been identified with Internet Explorer.

We posted last month to remind you all that as of 8th April 2014, Microsoft will no longer support Windows XP.
In addition to making sure that you install all of the windows updates, it is also essential to ensure that you have got up to date anti-virus software installed. There are many excellent free programs available if you do not.
If you are interested in finding out if your computer can be upgraded to a more modern operating system such as Windows 7, or if you are think...ing of getting a new computer, then please enquire for further information.
