Staying with the theme of KD’s formative years, here’s where it all started. The beautiful and oft overlooked English county of Northamptonshire, with Kettering at the centre of the pic. Land of furnaces, quarries, steelworks and shoe factories, this is where our story of design, making and production began. Decent ink drawing too ;-)

We’re heading east! Very excited to say KD is moving to EC1 next week. The new studio is a couple of minutes walk from both Old St. station and The Barbican, with Ironmonger Row Baths and the LSO at St. Lukes as notable neighbours. We are also expanding our interiors and architecture capability - more news soon!

Perhaps the least well known of Eduardo Paolozzi’s great public works; ventilation tower at Pimlico station. The last shot is a Scottish beer named in his honour. Tasted pretty good and he would definitely approve.
