About Keele Su Volunteering
We're here to help the Keele community to get involved with volunteering. You can use our database for opportunities, come to training, or log your volunteering hours and achieve awards.
Keele Su Volunteering Description
★Keele SU Volunteering is based within the Students Union. We are a North Staffordshire Volunteer Center Branch. This means that we have thousands of volunteering opportunities for you and the support of a Staffordshire wide volunteering organisation.
★KeeleSU Volunteering supports students to find volunteering opportunities locally, nationally and internationally. Also, we facilitate the KeeleSU Volunteering Awards.
★We work with departments within the university to find tailor made opportunities from organisations in the wider community.

The UK Youth Climate Coalition want volunteers!
"We are opening up exciting volunteering opportunities across our organisation. As the UK’s largest youth-led climate group we offer the chance to build leadership skills, develop communication and organisational skills, as well as put your own stamp on the climate movement. We think Keele students would be interested. I myself am a first year Keele student and would love to promote this opportunity to my peers and colleagues.
W...hat are we looking for? We are looking for people who share our vision. You don’t have to be a climate science expert or a protester (though we like those people too!) UKYCC is a space to learn and grow, to meet people who share your passion and develop new skills and confidence to take on challenges. Most of the time we work remotely, talking regularly online – so whether you live rural, urban, at your Mum’s house, we want you!
The role: When you join UKYCC we will ask you to indicate which working group you would be most interested in.
UK Gas Campaign – working to bring an end to fossil gas in the UK The Community Working Group – working in local communities to empower other young people to make their area more sustainable The COP Working Group – the team we send to represent youth voices at the international climate change conferences held by the UNFCCC The Communications Working Group – streamlining UKYCC’s social media and communications platforms (find their work on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube) The Operations Team – the organisational backbone of UKYCC
