Keep•It•Human

Our journey: Keep•It•Human is a unique academic spin-out from The University of Manchester. This social venture, founded by Professor Ricardo Climent, emerged from the Aspect Success 2020 accelerator (now called ARC) with the support of the Masood Entrepreneurship Centre at the Alliance Manchester Business School. Our goal is to build video games in which players make decisions in a digital environment, which have a positive impact on the real world. Immersive media narratives and digital representation have a transformative power on people's ideas and opinions. We use these tools to create gamified simulators that enable individuals and businesses to experience alternative scenarios and make well-informed decisions. Our videogames and partnerships: Resourceful. World is a video game that aims to increase engagement with sustainability research. In partnership with Sustainable Futures and Energy / Health Academic experts at the University of Manchester and Imago Software. A. I Beatboxer is a music and A. I. interactive installation for museums (a spin out of the A. I. Beatboxer concert performance that aims to foster inclusive behaviour, effective diversity approaches, equality and non-discrimination, by changing the player's self-perception. With Greek beatboxer champion Giorgos Gargalas, Hongshuo Fan and Manusamo& Bzika. Mangrove. World is a video game that aims to engage young generations with mangrove reforestation in the Philippines. In partnership with Oceanus Conservation and Imago Software. Timbi. World is a videogame that celebrates African culture and brings music and fun to digital fundraising for a skateboard education charity in Mozambique.
