Nice staff and cars. Super convenient if you don't mind returning the car late at night... Or early on the morning!

I have always found Kendal Cars at Canterbury to be extremely efficient, helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Excellent company with excellent staff.

Having been ripped off by the usual large car hire companies (OK, let's be fair, not exactly ripped off but certainly costs are hidden until you reach the checking desks), it was a pleasant experience to come again to Kendal Cars. I timed the call (no "your call is important to us" as you wait for 10-minutes for someone to answer), as this was 2m and 41s of a call that went something like "Have you a car for tomorrow I can rent please?". "yes sir, we have." "can you give me a price please?" "£97 for the 6-days sir, including insurance." "Are there any extra charges?" "No sir, and all we need to take is £200 security deposit" "Great, I'll be in tomorrow if that's OK, and what else do you need from me at the moment?" "Nothing sir, and see you tomorrow".

Simple. Easy. Pleasant. And when I arrived it was the same service. Excellent and at 1/3rd of the price that Hertz were trying to charge me - despite booking online at the same rate at Kendal Cars - this is excellent. Sure, you can't take another drop off place like Heathrow or Gatwick, but I just got a train and enjoyed the journey.

Excellent. Other companies (in all sectors) could learn a thing or two from keeping it simple, pleasant and easy to deal with!
