Well, on Friday we will be on our way to Broadstairs for fun, good music, song and dance and good company. Week on Saturday we will begin a week in Whitby for fun, good music, song and dañce and good company. Can't wait. Details to follow. xx

We've had a great day today at the London Docklands Museum. Lots of great performers, great exhibits and family friendly. Doing it all again tomorrow.
Many of you will already know of our cyber woes since way back to 17th July this year due to a house move to a fairly remote spot in Derbyshire and the irritating truth is, we won't now have a home phone or hard wired internet until April 2018! Steve Turner is arguably the most inventive, creative and inspirational self accompanist for traditional and contemporary folk song that I know – using mainly Baritone English Concertina and Bouzouki. Adding to that an equally unique and powerful singing voice makes him unbeatable in his field. Astonishingly, being a local and mostly working extensively just about everywhere else, he, lamentably, seldom appears around here. Come and help him celebrate the release of his new CD and at the same time, treasure a local resource – revered the world over - giving it rice on his own patch!

Thank you to Sue and Keith Rule for a wonderful time at the Pig's Ear Folk Ale at the Kentish Horse, Edenbridge. A lovely weekend of good homespun live music - we had a great time!
Sylvia and I are very much looking forward to returning for a warble to the oldest folk club in England - The Bradford Topic this Thursday - Hope to see some old and new friends from the region there.
