Kenneth Copeland Ministries Europe Description

Company Overview . . . In May 1967, Kenneth Copeland was walking along the bed of the Arkansas River in Tulsa, Oklahoma, when the Lord dropped the vision of the ministry into his heart: to preach the gospel to the nations—a call that would include using every available voice to preach the uncompromised message of faith to meet the needs of people worldwide.

It all started though with simple steps of obedience and faith. . . , walking in love and the integrity of God's Word.

In 1957 at 20 years of age, with a hit record, Pledge of Love, at #14 on the national charts and #1 on the local charts Kenneth looked to be on his way to a successful singing career appearing on American Bandstand and featured next to Ricky Nelson in Dig Magazine. But God had other plans. He met Gloria and asked her to marry him on their first date. She said yes. At that time, they lived in a rented apartment with a rollaway bed, coffeepot they cooked in and kept their food on the porch to keep it cold. Things were not abundant but as Gloria sat reading a Bible given to Kenneth from his mother one day she prayed, "God, take my life and do something with it. " Shortly thereafter Kenneth became a Christian and five years later at the age of 30 he obeyed God, packed up his family, and moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma, to enroll at Oral Roberts University in spring of 1967.
Kenneth Copeland Ministries Staff

Kenneth applied to be Oral Roberts' co-pilot and he was made part of the flight crew attending all the tent meetings and crusades. It was during this time that he was learning exponentially through on-the-job training. Just a few months after Kenneth worked for Oral, God called him to start his own ministry and on September 7, 1967, Kenneth Copeland Ministries was birthed.

"Kenneth Copeland Ministries was birthed out of love for the people and a commitment to bring people the Word, " states Kenneth Copeland. "Our lives are totally wrapped up in ministering to the people. When we say, "We're here for you. " we mean it to this point—everything we do, everything we preach, every broadcast we come on, everywhere we minister, everything we say and do is prayed, engineered, designed to minister to the people. . . . God called us to take His message of love and faith to the whole world. We care about you and we want to help you find the answers you need in God's Word.

Kellie Copeland Swisher, Kenneth and Gloria's daughter, believes that is what sets Kenneth and Gloria apart. "People all the time use the phrases 'Word church, ' 'Word people, ' 'Word movement. '" states Kellie. "Forty years ago, faith was ambiguous. It wasn't a movement. To us, it was just a way of life. Mom and Dad said, 'If we see it in the Word, we're going to form our life around that. We're going to change our life to fit the Word. ' It's the way we live our life. Every decision they make is formed around the Word. "

"Integrity and integrity in God's Word, " continues John Copeland, son and CEO of KCM. "That's what this ministry has stood on for 40 years and will stand on for the next 40 years. People have said word of faith teaches that you don't ever have problems and that's just not true. Our families have been faced with adversities. Sometimes you just go through something. It's not that you don't face obstacles and don't face adversities, it's what you do when you are faced with those adversities. How do you handle yourself, what do you do? You have a choice. And we were raised not to just take it but to fight it, stand against it, believe God and the integrity of His Word and you will come out on the other side. "

Kenneth and Gloria have learned the principle of connecting to God in faith. By the Lord's blessing, they have taught their children, grandchildren and Partners the world over the power of connecting with God and His Word every day in every way in their life, making for a great heritage and legacy.

His Still Small Voice Gloria Copeland
But the anointing which ye have received of [God] abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth. 1 John 2:27
... Have you ever noticed that you are sometimes aware of certain things even before you know what the Word says about them? That’s because the Holy Spirit is inside you teaching you the truth. He speaks into your spirit. Then your spirit relays His promptings to your mind. Suddenly, you’ll have a new thought. “I need to forgive that person,” you’ll think, or “I need to stop saying those unkind things.”
As you become more aware of the Spirit of God in your everyday affairs, you’ll be quicker to hear and obey those promptings. You’ll actually get in the habit of allowing the Spirit of Truth to reveal the will of God to you. And, believe me, that’s one habit God wants you to have!
One of the first things that the Spirit said to me when I began to listen to His promptings was “spend more time in prayer.” As I obeyed, I began to be impressed to spend at least one hour a day in prayer. After I’d begun to do that, He revealed it to me in His Word (Matt. 26:40).
Since then, I have talked with people from all over the world who are hearing the same thing. Believers everywhere are hearing the Spirit of God direct them to more prayer.
God hasn’t given the Holy Spirit to just a few special Christians. He’s given Him to all of us. And if we’ll just learn to be sensitive to His voice, He’ll guide us into all truth!
Think about how different your life would be if you knew the truth of God about every situation! Doesn’t that just make you want to listen to your spirit? Doesn’t it make you want to be on the keen edge of what God is saying?
Start tuning your ear to His still small voice within you. Honor Him and welcome His guidance into your everyday affairs. Listen for His promptings and be quick to obey. He’s ready to speak to you.

Exercise Your Rights Gloria Copeland
He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. Isaiah 53:5
... Jesus came to earth and gave Himself as a sacrifice for sin in order to buy back for you everything that Adam lost. He came to destroy all the works of the devil…sickness and disease included. Once you receive Him as Lord of your life, all the rights and privileges God originally intended you to have (the right to things like fellowship with God, health and prosperity) are restored.
But you are the one who has to exercise those rights!
You see, the devil is an outlaw and even though Jesus has taken away his authority in the earth, even though he has no legal right to kill or steal from the children of God, he’ll do it anyway…as long as you’ll let him get away with it.
You must enforce his defeat by speaking the Word of God in faith. Act on His Word now. Demand that sickness and disease leave you in the Name of Jesus. Then refuse to back off that demand. Resist the devil with all you’ve got. He might fight you for a while, but sooner or later, he will have to flee from you!

Plant a Seed and Watch It Grow! Kenneth Copeland
And he said, Whereunto shall we liken the kingdom of God? or with what comparison shall we compare it? It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth: But when it is sown, it groweth up, and becometh greater than all herbs, and shooteth out great branches; so that the fowls of the air may lodge under the shadow of it. Mark 4:30-32
... Jesus compares the workings of the kingdom of God to planting seeds in the earth. “When the seed is sown,” He said, “it grows up….”
Notice He didn’t say that it would occasionally grow up. Or it grows up if it’s God’s will. He said, “It grows up and becomes greater.” Period.
God’s economy isn’t like ours. It isn’t up one day and down the other. It’s always the same and it always works perfectly. If you have good earth, good seed and good water, you’re going to have growth. It’s inevitable.
So, if you’re facing a need, don’t panic… plant a seed!
That seed may take the form of money or time or some other resources you have to give. But, no matter what form it takes, make sure you put life in it by giving it in faith and surrounding it with praise and worship. Say, “Lord, as I bring You my goods, I bring myself. I give myself to You–spirit, soul and body.”
Pray over that seed. Fill it with faith, worship and the Word. Then plant it. You can rest assured–it will grow up and become greater!

Strike It Rich Kenneth Copeland
And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. Galatians 3:29
... One of the problems that hung around me for years was poverty. But I remember the day I decided I wasn’t going to be poor anymore. I was reading in the Word where it says that the blessing of Abraham has come upon the Gentiles by Jesus Christ (Gal. 3:14). Then I got down to the twenty-ninth verse where it says, “If ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and HEIRS ACCORDING TO THE PROMISE.” Suddenly the truth hit me. I got so excited I could hardly stand myself.
I turned back over to Deuteronomy 28 and–line by line–I read those promised blessings. “Blessed in the city, blessed in the country. Blessed going out, blessed coming in. Blessed in your barns, blessed in your fields, blessed in all the works of your hands.” Man, I had struck it rich!
I’d been going to school in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and I was living in a dumpy little house nobody would want to live in. But when I read those promises in the Word, I saw the light. I realized God already had redeemed me from the curse of poverty.
Well, that afternoon in my back bedroom, I took my Bible in my hand and I said: “I want to announce to Almighty God in heaven and to Jesus Christ of Nazareth, to all the angels of heaven, to all the demons of hell, and to anybody else that cares anything about hearing it, that from this day forward my needs are met according to God’s riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
I told Him, “I’m standing on Your Word, and I’m looking to You to take care of me. I’ll never ask a man for a dollar.”
That was many years ago and I never have. You know why? Because that decision connected me to the power of God. It’ll do the same for you.

Under Pressure? Plant! Kenneth Copeland
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. Galatians 6:7
... If you feel like you’re under pressure these days, you’re not alone. Satan is putting more pressure on more people right now than ever before. He’s pressuring us mentally, financially, emotionally and every other way he can. The pressure has gotten so great everywhere that governments don’t know what to do. Businesses don’t know what to do. Families don’t know. Churches don’t know.
But, praise God, Jesus does! He says we can give our way right out from under any pressure the devil brings to bear.
Giving is always Jesus’ way out. Whenever there’s a need, He plants seed! In fact, in Mark 4, He compares the entire kingdom of God to a seed. Just think about the importance of seeds for a moment. Every living thing on this earth came from a seed. You came from a seed. Then you were born again from the seed of God’s Word. Jesus Himself was The Seed planted by God. God sowed Him in sacrifice. He came forth and grew up into many brethren.
So, when Satan puts you under pressure, go to Jesus and let Him tell you how and where to plant. If you’ll do it, that seed will grow up until it breaks the powers of darkness and lack. It will release you from the pressure the devil’s been putting on you.
I’ve seen it happen. When Jerry Savelle first began to work for my ministry, he didn’t have but one suit of clothes and one shirt with a pair of slacks to his name. He wore one, then the other, night after night to every service we held. He didn’t have the money to even think about buying another suit. I’m telling you, he was under pressure where clothes were concerned!
Then he found out about the principle of seed-faith and harvest. So, he went downtown in the city where we were in a meeting and found a fellow on the street who needed clothes and gave him some. Immediately people started giving Jerry clothes. It started in that meeting and they’ve been doing it ever since. Today, there are many preachers in Africa wearing Jerry Savelle suits! (Even if the sleeves and pant legs are way too short!) He’s still sowing and reaping the greatest clothes harvest I’ve ever seen.
If the devil’s pressuring you, don’t panic…plant! Plant your time. Plant your money. Plant the clothes off your back. When your harvest comes in, you can laugh and say, “Hey, Devil, who’s feeling the pressure now?”

Start Speaking Faith Now Kenneth Copeland
Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. Matthew 12:34-35
... Words won’t work without faith any more than faith will work without words! It takes them both to put the law of faith in motion.
Many believers don’t realize that. They’ll continually speak words of doubt and unbelief, then they’ll jump up one day and say a couple of faith words and expect mountains to move– and to their dismay, they don’t.
Why not?
Because as Matthew 12:34-35 says, it’s the words that come from the heart that produce results. The person who just throws in a couple of faith words now and then isn’t speaking them from the abundance of his heart, so they’re not effective.
Does that mean you shouldn’t start speaking words of faith until you’re sure you have the faith to back them?
No! Speaking words of faith is good spiritual exercise. If you want to receive healing by faith, for example, fasten your mind and your mouth on the Word of God where your health is concerned. Instead of talking about how miserable you feel, quote Isaiah 53:5. Say, “Jesus was wounded for my transgressions. He was bruised for my iniquities. The chastisement of my peace was upon Him; and with His stripes, praise God, I was healed!”
If you’ll continue to meditate on those words and continue to say them, the truth in them will begin to sink in. They’ll take root in your heart and begin to grow. And eventually you really will be speaking from the abundance of your heart.
When that happens, it won’t matter what the circumstances look like. You’ll know you have what you’ve been believing for and the devil himself won’t be able to talk you out of it. You’ll cross the line from hope to faith, and you’ll start seeing those mountains move!

Let God Be Glorified Gloria Copeland
And Jesus went forth...moved with compassion...and he healed their sick. And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus' feet; and he healed them: Insomuch that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel. Matthew 14:14; 15:30-31
... Religious tradition says that God gets glory when we bear up nobly under the agony of sickness and disease. But that’s not what the Bible says. It says God gets glory when the blind see and the lame walk and the maimed are made whole!
In India or Africa where people haven’t been taught those kinds of religious traditions, when somebody stands up and announces, “I come to you as a messenger from the most high God,” people believe what he has to say. When they hear that Jesus, the King of Kings, shed His blood for them; when they hear that He’s sent His messenger to tell them that He’ll deliver them from sin and sickness and death today, they get excited. They don’t argue with the Word of God. So you know what happens?
People begin to get healed. People start throwing away their crutches and flinging off their bandages!
When we learn to hear the Word of God like that, the same thing will happen to us. God is no respecter of persons. His Word works for everyone. It’s how we receive it that makes the difference!
