Great museum, but it's very weird they just close rooms when they don't have enough volunteers (but they got two on entrance just to greet you 🤦🏻‍♀️).
Good collection of paintings
Historical place worth visiting when you’re in the heath! They have a great painting collection.
Go earlier in the day before the rooms start to close up
Bring a picnic and relax in the sunshine after touring the house. It’s free to enter and the acclaimed art work and grand architecture make it worth the visit.
You feel like you move back in time! Great place!
Come here now on a good weather day to have a picnic and play ball games and tan! It's like a hidden place getaway for central Londoners.
Searcy's have taken over the catering. Disorganised and not enough staff. Limited choices
Check out the cream teas at the cafe!
Free house tour with an extensive collection of 17th century paintings
Lots of beautiful paintings 🎨
Absolutely love Kenwood House! The building inside is beautifully restored and kept, full of art including an original Rembrandt. The grounds are wonderful to walk through, especially in the summer.
The Library is Stunning!
Good for a bit of E M Foster
The recent restoration has left the house in incredibly beautiful condition, and it's free to visit!
Kenwood House hosts the most beautiful live out door opera for free every year in the summer. Every age group brings picnics and sits amidst the beauty of the Heath and woods, late into the evening
Great place for have a break after a day spent walking in the park
Great place for a lunch
Kenwood House was given to the nation by Lord Iveagh in 1927, along with the art collection that includes a Rembrandt self-portrait and Constable’s oil sketch of Hampstead Heath.
