...Following on from our last post where Graham received the expert lowdown direct from Oakley themeselves (there’s a de-mist button on the bridge! 😮 Yes, really!) we are delighted to announce the arrival of this beauty, now in stock!
This is the #Oakley Anorak in Matte Grey with Prizm Jade Iridium lenses, which as well as being perfect for cyclists or runners who find their specs steam up, look pretty slick too 😎.
They work great as a pair of general sun specs as the style is not overly sporty (like a wraparound) in addition to being a great piece of performance kit. A top combo if you ask us 🙌

A few weeks ago we had Duncan - the Oakley rep - visit us here at Kenyon Opticians 😎 here he gives us the expert lowdown on the new ‘Lifestyle’ frames called Oakley Anorak 👌
The idea behind the #Oakley Lifestyle range is that they can be worn as an everyday sunglass, but if someone does a bit of cycling or running as a hobby, they have a feature to help with that.
In this case, a bridge that clicks out to make the frame stand off the face when it steams up. Just something di...fferent to the very sports-specific frames.
And we’ve actually just had one of them arrive in practice (check out our next post for a closer look!)...!

Andrew drives up and down the country as a shopfitter and a joiner for his family firm J A Ward & Son Ltd. He KNEW he wanted a pair of #Oakley sunglasses, but needed Graham’s advice; he was struggling to find specs that would work for his job as well as being a general sunglass, and just didn’t know where to start!
❓Problem: His specs need to cope with close wor...k, long distance and everything in between!
✅ Answer: The Oakley Drop Point dispensed with Oakley TrueDigital polarised progressive lenses. Also mirror coated with Oakley’s Black Iridium coating👌
He’s absolutely chuffed with these as we are too! Looking awesome! 😎

They’re one lens for both distance and near vision; so you can read the menu AND people watch in a restaurant! Very convenient, but how do you know if multifocal contact lenses make sense for you? 🧐
