Translation of technical articles and published books for a research journal, also undertaken translation of manuscripts for the mainstream publishing industry with an emphasis on technical knowledge, historical and technical accuracy and working to deadlines.

Worked extensively on original material for a Russian Aviation research organisation’s journal, which is published in my own name.

A little light relief from translation - an amazing display by the MiG-29OVT at MAKS 2013, this aircraft is fitted with thrust vectoring taking it to a new level of manoeuvrability not previously attained by the MiG-29. These manoeuvres were traditionally the preserve of fighters produced by MiG's rival the Sukhoi Design Bureau

Airbus A-350 airliner development and certification progressing well - the aircraft is due to appear at the Farnborough Airshow this coming July says Flight Global Aviation Resource

It's not all translation - this is a video of a flight undertaken as part of the celebrations marking the 100th anniversary of the Russian Air Force in 2012. The pilot is Hero of the Russian Federation and Test-Pilot Anatoliy Kvochur taking Vyacheslav Pozgalev for a ride in a Sukhoi Su-30 aircraft. The film, though naturally in Russian, can be appreciated for the aesthetics and the unique perspective as much as for language content.
