I have been a photographer for 25 years and live in Swanland, East Yorkshire.

I read somewhere that you don't get to become a good photographer until you have shot for at least 10, 000 hours! I'm sure this applies to other creative pursuits.
Well, in my 25-years as a pro-photographer I guess-timated (is that a word?) approximately 30, 000 + hours, so I think I know what I'm doing by now!

I got my first camera in my teens and as happens to many of us, I fell hook, line and sinker for it.

Having progressed from a weekly newspaper in my home Town and moving to a Daily Paper in Hull, I have photographed such subjects as The Queen on the Royal Yacht Britannia,
Princess Diana in Germany, pop stars (Beautiful South, Morrisey etc) celebs and politicians.

All this experience is invaluable when photographing weddings, it's about connecting with people,
putting them at ease, having fun, being creative - in all weathers!
