My husband and I wanted to go for a meal but didn't want to go to one of the many chain restaurants that are everywhere these days. After reading several reviews on Tripadvisor praising this place we thought we would give it a go, We were welcomed warmly by the staff when we arrived. We were shown to a table and the lovely waiter came and took our drinks... order and then our food order. We didn't know what to order so we went for a set menu and it was very tasty! The food arrived promptly and was well presented. There was nothing to complain about! Food was great, service efficient and friendly. This is a gem. The decor is pretty basic but it makes you feel like you are in Thailand in a wooden hut. It adds to the atmousphere. It was a nice change from the typical Thai/chinese restaurant with the waving cats and fans. We will be going again soon and this will become a regular spot for us.

The ambience is warm and cosy and relaxing and the staff are the most friendly I've been served by in years. I went last night and if I was ask to go out for dinner tonight I would go straight back. A real gem I cannot recommend enough. +++++++

The dishes were very tasty, whilst also being fresh and light. As we were a group we pre-ordered as suggested by the chef and they worked really hard to get it right for us, even serving me separate gluten free versions of all the dishes on the set menu. The meal was also good value, particularly for the amount of dishes we had. Would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant - and thanks to the staff for a wonderful evening.

leno1 Southampton 106 Reviewed 4 days ago Lovely meal... We are not local to Newbury but fancied a Thai meal. So, after researching on TripAdvisor we chose this restaurant. So glad we did. The food was very good and cooked to perfection. Staff very attentive even if a bit over kill but think they were just anxious to get things right. Bit of a mix up over my wine order, asked for a glass of white wine and got red, but hey, all goes down the same way. The waitress was very apologetic about the mix up. When we left the restaurant was full, always a good sign, and it was very reasonable in price. Thank You.
