Went here bout two weeks ago first time been n carnt folt it or staff very helpful n loads diff fish chose from n good prices n there healthy fish n good choice of rare fish will be back even tho its 45min drive worth the drive tho

We have used this shop since having our baby turtle and even though this was before they sold turtles I always had great help and advice from everyone in the shop, even other customers when mandy knew that a visitor could help me. It truly is a family business and that is the way they treat customers, as though they were helping out family. It may be a small building but the range of stock and wealth of knowledge somehow fits in there!

We have had our fish, frog, eel and snails from here. Friendly staff who give the best advice. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Only place I go for tropical fish and plants, huge variety. Great knowledge from the team always willing to give advice. Not overpriced like some places.

Never had a bad fish from here. I bought 4 Kribensis, 8 Golden barbs and 5 black phantoms about a year ago. All fish but 3 of the Golden barbs are thriving (the fish loss were due to a shell decoration from Amazon.) All tanks were immaculate and i didn't see a single ill fish in the entire shop.

100/10 would recommend. In fact I am planning a trip to their new shop on Saturday. EXCITED

Love this place ’┐Į I'm always made to feel really welcome and everyone is so helpful especially the lady (don't know her name) she is fab every time I go in. All the fishes are so well looked after and clean and must be really healthy as I have had loads from here and all have transitioned to my tanks easily and are thriving in their new homes. I will be back in soon as I think I'm due a new Betta fish! ’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į

I purchased my first ever fish tank from here - a bio orb. All set up for me in my home. Gradually purchased fish for it, they would only allow me to buy fish when my water was right which is how it should be. Lovely family run business, all very helpful and friendly.

I highly recommend this team to anyone buying anything for your tank. Due to an inexperienced trader setting up my new Marine Tank it was a disaster all my fish died .Thanks to the care and patience of all the staff at Kidsgrove Topicals who were kind and knowledgeable and supported me by answering my questions with so much patience (also a special thank you to Phil who came out to sort out what was wrong) I now have a healthy happy tank which gives me so much pleasure Thank you all xx

Have kept freshwater tropicals for years, but never marines until 2 months ago when I made the decision to start a new venture in this rewarding hobby.The help I've had from Kidsgrove Tropicals with my nano reef tank has been superb, both in their supplying my new aquarium and its installation. (Phil, can't thank you enough for that). Never once have I been given bad advice, and their help over the phone has always been dealt with by them in an extremely polite manner.

Had fish from these guys for my pond for the last few years, always very knowledgeable , and nothing to much trouble for them, spent a while chatting about wanting to have a living tank , there expert ease in the field was very reassuring as this is something we are interested in getting in the future. Well kidsgrove tropical is the best place to go bye fish or full set ups the ppl that run the shop are top ppl really helpfull friendly and nice

Disappointed unfortunately. The shop looks amazing with a wide variety of fish to chose from however I bought fish a week ago (2x clown loaches, 4x tuxedo swordtails and 1x red tailed shark) and so far 3 of them (1x clown 2x swords) have died suddenly... The levels are all as they should be in my tank and it has been well established for months with my other fish (bought elsewhere) who are thriving and breeding.



I'm disheartened really as thought the shop would be brilliant ... I'm hoping these fish are flukes but I won't be risking it again.
