A BIG thank you to Becky & Jay who came to pick up their album this morning and brought me some lovely chocolates and a thank you card. It was a fabulous day and it was a privilege to play a small part in it x

Today is my own Mum & Dad's 70th wedding anniversary! I don't even know anyone else that has been married this long lol ! (I didn't really realise until now how long they had been married before they had me). They are still with us and although now my dad is 92 and my mum 90 and neither are in the best of health they are still here and that's the main thing!
So, weddings, and wedding photography (obviously not only my job but something that personally means a lot to me and ...I am passionate about). Here are my mum and dad's wedding photos .. all 11 of them ! Taken in the days when a photographer would turn up at the church to capture the brides arrival and go to the reception just to capture the cutting of the cake. He would have a roll of film which would capture 12 photos (and the more well off you were and the more money you paid the more rolls of film he would use) and you would have however many came out.
Photography has moved on so much from those days and maybe not for the better with all the gadgets and gizmos and in relative terms it's cheaper now than it was back them and you get so much more now ... but these 11 photographs are all I need and they mean the absolute world to me, one of my most cherished possessions, they show my mum and dad and my grandparents and a few of the rest of my family (there are only 5 people in these photos that are still with us, the rest have long since passed away). I can pick them up and touch them and feel them, I don't need a computer or an iPad and they don't take me hours to look through.
Your photo album of your special day will become priceless to future generations, especially the older they get. Make sure that you have professional photos from your special day, you may not like having your photo taken and you my not particularly like yourself in photos but the future generations will love them because they are you x ❤️

If it rains on my couples wedding day I them not to worry as it is good luck, (as that is what was told on my own wedding day). However I didn't really know why it was lucky. I have recently found this on the internet and now I realise why !! x (not my picture by the way) x

Come along to the Three Horseshoes Country Inn & Spa this Sunday 16th September and say hello. It's a fab venue and the food is to die for .. so why not visit the wedding fayre first then stay for a carvery lunch ... you won't be disappointed ! x

We recently had a pre wedding shoot with Kim. She made us feel so relaxed and at ease, it was great fun to do and got us used to her style of photographing. For any potential brides booking I would say you have found the perfect photographer, Kim is so friendly yet professional and really knows her stuff. We can't wait to see our pre shoot photos and cant wait to do it all again at the wedding!

We meet Kim last week at the county showground as we were DJing at the same wedding. Kim was the photographer and is very professional in all aspects and there were some stunning photographs that kim had taken of the first dance and during the day. Highly recommend as a photographer.

We have to say a massive, massive thank you to kim and martin, they photographed our big day and i have to say we wouldnt have managed without them. Kim was so calm and made sure everything ran smoothly, even helping me into my wedding dress!

We had a second photographer on the day, Martin, who was also brilliant.

The weather wasn't the best on the day but Kim worked so hard to make sure we got the best photos and we are over the moon with the results.

Kim photographed our wedding September 2012, she is incredibly talented and thanks to her we have truly amazing pictures we will always treasure. Kim is a fantastic photographer, very approachable. We had a great time having our wedding photos taken, on what can be a hectic day, Kim managed to keep us relaxed. We loved every moment. The photographs were amazing and the final album was absolutely fantastic!! We highly recommend Kim and can't wait to visit her new studio for future photographs.

I had Kim and Martin for my wedding in October and I can honestly say they were both fantastic. Martin helped all of the best men get ready and Kim was wonderful at keepinh me calm whilst I got ready, the photos she took of me before I got in my dress are beautiful and she captured so many of the little moments from throughout the day!
