Really nice, dog friendly pub. Overnight stay is welcomed, and the staff are lovely. Good choice ales, and a reasonable number of vegetarian options on the menu. Vegan is a little more limited, but most pubs are only just beginning to realise that we exist and have spending power.

After walking from Boscastle to Tintagel along the coast, this is a good place to come to for a few drinks and a bite to eat before the walk back again. Plenty of places to sit . Good selection of beer with friendly and helpful staff. If you arrive here by car then there is ample parking available and plenty to do in Tintagel with many interesting shops as well as OK course Tintagel Castle.

Was in here on a Sunday evening and thought the Landlord was very rude. The pub and food looked great. I was going to order a pizza and went to the bar and they insisted on £10min spend so I requested a pint and pay for the pizza and have it later. Apparently they couldn't accommodate this simple request and claimed the epos system would insist on the pizza being cooked immediately! Not that it wasn't easy to just add a simple note as in other places. Anyway I intensely discussed this with the bar staff, Keith was exemplary, then this guy at the bar rudely said 'I'm the owner and I want to know when to cook it' very gruff and no respect for customers. Of course he put me off. I just had my pint!

Staff we're friendly, and the place is clean... but unfortunately the food was not great. I had a pie, which looked and smelled lovely, but it was a very watery sauce and had a strange taste. My hubby had the cooked breakfast and he enjoyed that. My last visit I had to send the pasta back as it tasted odd. So, if you go, stick with the breakfast!

Good food, good portions, a decent selection of drinks and the prices aren't too bad as well. It looks like the most popular place in town and it's normally busy but there's normally a table free. The food selection is good, standard pub grub and the portions are excellent. The food came out very quickly which was impressive but made me think it might be pre-made, ready to go. Still tasted nice though.

Had excellent service at the inn. The food was great at a very reasonable price. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was very relaxed. Certainly recommend this place to anyone visiting.

Great atmosphere. Lots of local lagers and ales to try out alongside the more familiar brands. Fair pricing, live music on sports on the TV.

This is a lovely Cornish pub. They do lovely food, huge dishes and also they are attached to a microbrewery called Tintagel Brewery and their beer is superb. Great place!
