We are delighted to announce that following the recent grant of permission from Lichfield District Council a significant expansion will soon be underway which will enlarge the park by a third. Plans are in hand for the construction of 33 new holiday home bases on adjoining fields and it is anticipated that this exciting new project will commence at some time during the course of this summer. This follows on from the park once again achieving a 5 Star “Gold” award from Visit England (The official tourism body for England) late last year which is the highest award possible, exciting times ahead!
By way of clarification and in answer to 1 or 2 enquiries we would like to confirm that we have simply leased the cafe building to other operators and that all the property will remain in our ownership. We will still be based in the office / reception each and every day and will be delighted to see all our previous cafe / park visitors as they arrive. The running of the whole park will continue under our control and apart from the running of the cafe nothing else has changed.

With another match coming up for our bowls team on Sunday 9th of August here are some photos from the last match against Hazelwood.
Our bowls team took on Hazelwood Pub team in a friendly game this past Sunday. In the singles matches Kingfisher Holiday Parks team managed to edge a 12-11 victory. Hazelwood however took a 15-11 win in the doubles matches.
Was good to see so many turn out for the fun day this year and all the staff here at Kingfisher hope everyone who attended had a great time.
