We weren't sure about this place at first. We only went in for lunch. However the food was first rate it is waiter service and he was really helpful. Would recommend.
Very clean modern rooms. Comfortable beds. Lovely reception staff.
Near the mouth of the Tweed, and easy walking for town and transport links, an old hotel with character, if not a few creaks. Worth a stay.
Not worth the money. One of our group need gluten free he was offered PASTA really 😣 if breakfast had been included would pay that £95 but £10 for a cold fry up ain't good all 4 breakfast sent back
Okay service. Very odd linguine which tasted more like a curry with seafood and pasta. I didn't finish it.
Nicely furnished room. Nice and cheap restaurant attached too.
This recently refurbished hotel provided an excellent nights sleep to a weary traveller.
Great smoked Kippers for breakfast. Rooms quite large and we'll equipped. Staff very. friendly!
Service was very slow at lunch today. Pleasantly surprised by standard of food when it eventually arrived. Good choice of wine and reasonable. Just as well!! as we ordered a bottle of chardonnay and finished it before main courses arrived.
