Terrible hospital
Lots of incompetent staff
Had to help out for X-ray as they were not able to do it in two of them
Rude and arrogant consultant
Dirty hospital
Air con at max that even with 4 blankets I was still shaking and when brought to their attention they said they will sort it out but never happened
Window broken and open all night and my baby cot wouldnt slide down so had to jump over to get to her .....again promises to replace it but never happened.....they called a carrier to be transferred to another hospital ..... that in itself took a day and forgot to order the seat for my child.....so had to wait another two hours......I could go on forever about how bad and how much stress and trauma I was put through during my week there..... but pointless .....like the consultant said to me I don’t care how you feel or your daughter feels I can only say I don’t care if that hospital would close tomorrow as something isn’t quite right there!!!!!

Hygiene could be much better. Not the cleanest of hospitals. Doctors and nurses seem nice enough though some people sometimes have off days. Maybe I've come on an off day. Lots of waiting around and it's cold in my private room

I am an in patient in a renal ward as you read this. I came to Kings in good health, for a simple procedure which they promptly messed up and left me with no dialysis access and a dialysis line cut off and left inside my chest. It was explained to me that this was fine and would cause me no problems. However the next day I was informed I need major chest surgury as this redudundent tube could be life threatening. Have had to have emergency dialysis line inserted to allow dialysis now, which turned out to be only a two hour session, as my blood clotted due to the lack of Heperin put in the system, followed by the nurse refusing ti re-line and restart the machine to complete the four hour session because she was "just helping out from another ward and due to go on her break!" The next session was ment to be two days later, but they forgot about it and I had to complain to a doctor that I was by now a day over due for my dialysis. So stuck here now, Not knowing what's happening as the hospital doesn't have the required doctors to make any decisions. If you have to go to hospital and you're offered a choice, do your self a big favour and choose somewhere else. Unless that is, you enyoy a dirty, chaotic disorganized hospital, where you feel like your in downtown Lagos!

The NHS at its finest but also its most chaotic! Unparalleled care for my wife and first child to the extent they wouldn't let us go and we had to plead to be discharged.

My case of appendicitis a different matter though. Entered A&E at 7am and admitted to the ward for next-day operation at 8pm!

I'm so glad I switched hospital from a local one to this one as my experience was far greater. The staff seem very relaxed and there for are able to take their take to properly examine your problem. Even the student midwives are very competent. I always leave feeling well informed and cared for.

Super!!! Excellent care/service provided by these very wonderful health care (Doctors, Nurses) and Allied professionals.... working round the clock. You guys deserve big praise and a big raise..

The talent of the medical staff in the A&E department at the hospital is very uneven. On arrival, I was offered a cocktail of three types of painkillers. The triage nurse was competent, but the next 'senior' nurse and doctor were like a comedy duo. They made no attempt to properly assess my condition, and just suggested more painkillers. I think their unprofessional approach may reflect a lack of adequate training.

I attended this hospitals A&E after suffering a clash of heads in football. By the time I had arrived I had suffered significant swelling. After an hour of waiting I kindly asked one of the staff if I could have some ice to apply to swelling while I wait. The declined and said they didn't have ice???? For those that suffer a head clash or form of swelling please be aware that this hospital cant offer ice to help the swelling. I think this sums up the state of the NHS to a tee.
