Kings Lynn Knights Hill Hotel & Spa, Bw Premier Collection

Excellent place to stay. Very clean with really nice rooms. This hotel is quality right down to the paper towels. All staff very friendly and helpful. Night staff great.
Attended a wedding fair at this venue. I have also previously visited this site for a wedding venue and to eat in its restaurant. Good solid venue and facilities. Pub has a older more traditional feel and the food is of a good standard. The main hall is well suited to good size events and is managed very well. Good size car park and easily accessible for wheelchair users.
Decent hotel. Good bed and room. Pretty gardens.
Located at a busy junction, with roads close in on two sides, means this hotel isn't really a destination but a stopping off place on the way to a destination.
Good breakfast.
It's a lovely hotel even though the rooms are a little dated. We stayed for a wedding and the staff were incredibly helpful and quite tolerant to our late night early morning drinking session. Breakfast was food...my husband says, I didn't make it out of bed ! And a very comfortable bed it was too. Spacious interconnecting double rooms. Just needs a freshen up. I'd stay again.
Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. The room we were given was just off the reception (room 20). It was really rather strange. The room was functional and everything worked but it was all very tired and in desperate need of refurbishment. Examples include; a stable door to the outside with a clear gap between top door and bottom, a room that was as dark as a dungeon (even with the lights on!) a carpet that, whilst clean, was tired, a shower/bath that when stood in felt like a trampoline, a shower that worked and was powerful but also leaked covering the bathroom floor at the same time as the bather!
However, biggest issue was the fact that we were woken consistently every night... The first night we were kept awake with some revellers that were in the reception area (just through from our room) until a time later than we're used to (gone 11:30pm), the following night, we were woken at 5am by the nightwatchman whistling and saying good morning to some early-risers, loud enough to wake us both and then, worst of all, the next night we were woken at 1:45am by the fire alarm going off and almost giving us a heart attack due to its volume rather than getting us out safely! We were evacuated, in a haphazard manner, not particularly orderly or professionally and waited for the fire service to arrive, only then to be advised that it was a false alarm due to a faulty sensor.
We returned to bed at 2:15am only then to be woken, yet again, by the fire alarm going off for a second time around 5am, again due to the faulty sensor triggering the same zone!!
When we checked out nothing was said about the disruption of the night and when we commented to the receptionist about the disruptive nights we had had, she simply offered an apology. We commented that Premier Inn offer a money-back guarantee for poor night sleep, which the receptionist claimed to know nothing about(!!!) but nevertheless, there was no suggestion of any alternative compensation of any sort. Pretty disappointing.
Attended here with friends for a drink recently. I have also previously come here for food with work meetings etc. It's fairly cheap simple food, good for a quick lunch or if you can't be bothered to cook. What I have found everytime I come however is there is always a long wait at the bar, makes getting another drink a bit of a chore.
Went to Knights Hill for meal with friends, all very good as usual. The only down side this visit was the very "loud" ladies on the next table. Food good, service good and always a place to park.
Good value bar menu. Caters well for children. Seating is somewhat cramped and uncomfortable.
It's a nice hotel. The decor is a little tired (early 90s colour scheme, brass plates, narrow passageways) but wonderfully managed which I guess is how it gets 4 plus stars.
I really mean it. I've been to a few hotels in my time but I really felt welcome and attended to the whole time I was there. Breakfast was nice too - real coffee offered as soon as I walked into the dining room first thing in the morning.
