Kingsbury Episcopi Parish Archiving Group

Archiving the parish, past and present; community involvement; meetings with guest speakers; projects around the parish; celebrating the parish.

Kingsbury Episcopi Parish Archiving Group has evolved from the work of the History Group. Its aims are to actively archive the people, events and buildings of the parish, collecting video and audio recordings, photographs and artefacts.

Projects planned include: involving the community in digging Test Pits to search for archaeological remains; creating a digital map of the parish; surveying the old buildings; constructing a parish trail; recording and researching masons marks in the churches; commemorating the people named on the war memorials; recording employment in the parish, past and present; holding regular meetings with invited speakers; publishing another book of the parish - and more!
