Kiplings Indian Restaurant is located on Highgate Hill (N6), ironically a few doors away from where the great author Charles Dickens once lived, rather than Rudyard Kipling whose virtues inspired the restaurant's name!

Kiplings' decor is immediately welcoming, comfortable and full of its own character. Our serving staff wear the traditional Indian waiter's uniform to add to the authenticity of the experience. As well as smart, you will find them polite and efficient, without being overbearing.

Our experienced chefs cook a good selection of delicious Indian dishes whose recipes originate from different regions. You will find meat, seafood and pure vegetarian options. These include simple starters – much-loved samosas, bhajis, kebabs and poppadums – perfectly cooked tandoori main courses, very tasty curries and biryanis. Specialities include Shatkora Shatrani (chicken or lamb cooked with Bangladeshi lime and spices) Chicken Hydrabad (cooked wth coconut, almonds, curry leaves and cashew nuts) and Chicken Chasnidarg (cooked wth honey, balsamic vinegar, lime juice and tomato). Whatever the dish, we use only the finest ingredients and spices.
