🌺Good afternoon and a lovely sunny one it is too,I've been a bit quite as I've been very busy with family work etc and now I have a poorly pooch so trips to the vets which means unfortunately I haven't had any time to sew but fingers crossed in the next couple of days I will be back into my sewing room,hope everyone had an amazing bank holiday and made the most of that glorious sunshine.Remember you can still visit my Etsy store.🌺

🌺So a few quick pics of my dress so far,not seen together properly yet lots of pins,and it needs a good press,hem needs levelling etc but gives you an idea of where I'm going ..I think...well I hope .😁🌺

🌺Happy Friday curvy's,its a bit dull this morning and I apologise for being so quite just I've been very busy with family life lol so apart from my fabric shopping trip at the weekend I haven't been able to get in my sewing room to do much at all,I'm going to try this morning for a few hours before I head out to my day job after all I've lots of new fabric still waiting to be played with😁

🌺Been a busy weekend here,had a great day in Birmingham yesterday with other half,then today repairing fencing in the glorious sunshine,no sewing done but sat in front of the TV last night doing a few sketches.🌺Hope you all had a great weekend and made the most of the gorgeous weather.

Fabric shopping I'm in fabric heaven.

So my pattern is drawn and my mock up (toile) is now cut out of muslin and pinned to the dummy, a few alterations needed to get the perfect fit ,then the pattern can be transferred to paper before cutting into my final dress which will hopefully be backless no corset but will be boned on the front with a gorgeous flowing fishtail skirt.😁

🌺Good morning everyone and it really is gorgeous out there today,I'm going to work later but going to spend an hour or so designing my next project,not just a corset but hopefully a full dress/gown,then hubby is taking me to Birmingham Saturday so I can buy lots of gorgeous fabrics really really excited so trawling the internet too for best places to go for bridal fabric eeekk.😁😁

🌺Good morning no sewing going on today as I'm back to my day job after my week off,but to be honest a break from sewing every now and then does me good otherwise I find it can take away the enjoyment,have got a few ideas buzzing in my head though😁,hope that you all have a great day.x🌺
