Kitty Langan Studio Description
We offer private singing lessons, private recording sessions, and private /group dance lessons all at a very competitive price. As well as co-ordinating private lessons we regularly sign up to take part in local performances and competitions which gives our talented students the opportunity to perform and to gain more exposure.
Launched in 2011 by Katie Langan, The Kitty Langan Studio in Greenmeadow is a new business which hopes to expand daily with the support from our students and local community. From a desire to give Swindon talent the national recognition it deserves, the school will take on any student from the age of 4 upwards. If you’ve got the passion, dedication and are willing to learn, Katie has the experience (and patience! ) to help reach your goal.
Singing, dancing and acting since the age of 5, Katie knows exactly how it feels to be young, talented and in search of stardom.
A wealth of experience and invaluable knowledge of the industry makes Katie the perfect role model for any budding vocalist - from experienced sopranos and tenors, to karaoke queens and hairbrush hit performers.
Katie’s diverse and exciting career has taken her from winning ‘Swindon’s Pop Idol’ at the age of 13, to centre stage performances as Aladdin’s Genie, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’s Veruca Salt, Chicago's Velma
Kelly and Marilyn Monroe.
Working with performers young and old, Katie is no stranger to rehearsing, choreographing and performing in high profile productions – with an enviable drive and determination to make anything and everything work.
Having taken part in competitions and showcases both locally and nationally, Katie is passionate about bringing the same excitement of her experiences to her students at the Kitty Langan Studio.
She says: “I want to see the school grow day by day, year by year, ultimately achieving enough members to be taking the school to local and national competitions, in order for our students to win awards and trophies for their excellence.

Just a reminder of the payment policy at Kitty Langan Studio & to inform those of you who may have recently joined us.
Payment for lessons MUST be paid at the beginning of the month or within 7 days of Your TXT notification. Payments will NOT be carried over to the following week under any circumstances. Any late payments will be subject to a £2 per day late payment fee that will be added on to the following months invoice.
If you are transferring online please use your chi...ld's name as a reference so I can mark off your monthly payments. If you are paying cash please put your child's name clearly on the envelope and hand it in to your class teacher.

🎶🎭KLS Update 🎭🎵
It’s such a difficult time for making any kinds of plans at the moment and we are closely following the guidelines from the health and government officials in regards to keeping you all safe.
As it stands we are happy to continue classes, however if we as a country do go into a lockdown and schools are asked to close we may have to change our plan of action. Events may be cancelled or postponed.
... Please follow the Covid-19 safety guidelines to ensure the safety of your child.
If you or your child are feeling unwell or if you have visited any of the affected areas please do not attend classes.
If we do face a period of isolation we will be offering online classes to allow some kind of routine and normality for the kids to ensure they are still active, kept busy and happy.
We will keep you updated.

Please be aware of the KLS private lesson cancellation policy.
Full payment will still be charged if your child fails to attend without any notice and a full charge will incur if less than 24 hours notice is given for whatever reason.
I appreciate you cannot anticipate illness but the class will take place regardless so you are paying to keep their time slot and space secured not the lesson itself.
... We will also now be charging a 50% fee for private lessons cancelled within 48hrs of the booked lesson and a full lesson fee if less than 24hrs notice is given.
Please make sure you let your class teacher know if your child won't be at class/lessons as soon as possible.
This allows us to organise the class structure accordingly if we know of absence in advance.

In light of our Showcase tomorrow...
THE SHOW WILL BE GOING AHEAD
I will notify everyone directly if this changes in the next 24 hours. Otherwise we will see you ALL at the stage door in... FULL KLS uniform, hair & make up at 10.30.
In the meantime we can only follow advise given by the government:
⭐️ Stay at home guidance for people with confirmed or possible coronavirus (COVID-19) infection
⭐️ wash your hands with soap and water often – do this for at least 20 seconds always wash your hands when you get home or into a new environment
⭐️ use hand sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available
⭐️ cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when you cough or sneeze
⭐️ put used tissues in the bin immediately and wash your hands afterwards
⭐️ try to avoid close contact with people who are unwell
⭐️ do not touch your eyes, nose or mouth if your hands are not clean
