Bit of a personal post here... day 1 and by 9.30am I had to take a deep breath in order not to cry! . . Mixed emotions, lucky to still be in work, lucky I’m able to keep my children with me but huge amounts of guilt as I just couldn’t quite manage the task of giving my kids the attention they needed when trying to complete the random worksheets I’d printed, whilst trying to be on hand at work 😢 .... . So...I’ve poured a glass of Prosecco, had a little read of friends posts and realised I’m not alone! . . So for anyone that has struggled to juggle being mum/dad, teacher & attempt your day job - today was your practise run & we made it through! We will all see into our new roles I’m sure! . .
